Activity Record
Read full descriptionHide full description
Activity Record is a simple hour-by-hour log of your day. Each hour, you write down what you were doing and rate how strongly you felt one feeling you choose to follow, from 0 for not at all to 100 for the most intense it gets. You can also rate pleasure, how much you enjoyed the hour, and mastery, how much you felt you accomplished given how hard it was. It’s for anyone who wants to see how their days actually go, hour by hour, whether they keep the record to themselves or share it with someone they trust. Logging takes a few seconds. Tap Log this hour, type what you were doing, and move the slider. Pick your feeling from a feelings wheel or write your own, add other feelings you noticed and a note if you want, and reuse the activity from the hour before when nothing changed. Missed a few hours? Catch up later, mark that you were asleep, or save and go straight to the next open hour. After eight rated hours, Patterns opens. It shows maps of your ratings by hour and by day, along with plain sentences about the times of day, days of the week, and activities that went with higher and lower ratings in your record. Your days lists every day you logged, so you can open one and read it back hour by hour. Patterns only describe what you entered. What you make of them is up to you. To keep or share a copy, export a PDF of one day or a date range, with a cover, contents, maps, a week at a glance, and each day you logged. You can also copy a day as text, export a spreadsheet, or save a backup file. Reminders arrive at the hours you choose, up to 12 a day, in general words that never show what you logged. The widget for your Home Screen or Lock Screen shows which hours today are filled in and opens the current hour. On iOS 18 and later, add the Log this hour control to Control Center, the Lock Screen, or the Action button, or just ask Siri. Short Learn articles explain how the record works, how to choose a feeling, and how to read your patterns. Help now keeps crisis lines one tap away. Your record stays private. There are no accounts, ads, or tracking, and nothing is sent to us. Everything stays on your device unless you turn on iCloud sync, which keeps it in your own iCloud account. Lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode, and delete everything whenever you like. In English and Spanish, with ratings from 0 to 100 or 0 to 10, a 12-hour or 24-hour clock, and a light or dark appearance. Free, with nothing to buy. Activity Record is a personal log for education and reflection. It is not therapy or medical care, it is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you have concerns about your mental or physical health, talk with a qualified professional. In an emergency, call 911. If you are in crisis in the United States, call or text 988.
