MyFitnessTech Train smarter, eat better, sleep deeper — all from one dashboard. MyFitnessTech is a focused fitness companion built for people who want their workouts, nutrition, sleep, and recovery data to live in one place — without ads or dark patterns. Core tracking is free: log a workout, scan a barcode, sync your watch, or pair a wearable from our hardware lineup — it all flows into the same private profile. FEATURES • Workout Tracking — A library of 350+ exercises across every major muscle group, with strength rankings (Bronze → Olympian) that tell you where each lift actually stands. Tap-to-complete sets, rest timer with custom presets, supersets, and a clean per-exercise PR view. • Nutrition & Hydration — Barcode scanning, weight-based food logging in grams or ounces, saved foods, meal-type picker, and water tracking. Macros and calories roll up into a live daily ring. • AI Food Scan — Point your camera at a meal, or at a nutrition label for the most accurate read, and get calories and macros back in seconds, already filled in. Every result is editable before it saves, and the Database button can swap in real nutrition data for anything the AI only estimated. Everyone gets 3 free scans; unlimited scanning is part of AI Pro (below). • Sleep Tracking — Manual logging with a weekly bar chart, overlap protection, and naps that don't break your main sleep. • Apple Health & HealthKit — Pulls heart rate, workouts, steps, active calories, sleep, and glucose from your Apple Watch and other HealthKit sources. Background sync keeps the home-screen widget fresh even when the app is closed. • Live Activities & Widgets — Workout and nutrition Live Activities on the Lock Screen, plus a calorie widget for at-a-glance daily progress. • Bluetooth Wearables — Pair MyFitnessTech hardware (BioBand motion tracker, SipSync smart bottle) for real-time sensor streaming, auto-logged sips, and live rep counts during sets. Use the app on its own if you don't have any of our devices yet. • Social — Build a public profile, find friends by username, friend code, or QR, and message 1:1 with private, auto-expiring photo support. Stay private with a single toggle, or report and block anyone, anytime. • Secure Sign-In — Email, Google, or Sign in with Apple. End-to-end account control: export or delete your account in one tap, and we erase your data along with it. AI PRO SUBSCRIPTION AI Pro unlocks unlimited AI food scanning, plus AI features we add over time. Everything else in MyFitnessTech stays free. • AI Pro Monthly — $14.99 per month • AI Pro Annual — $99.99 per year Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StepChase Pedometer at none against MyFitnessTech's 1. MyFitnessTech's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. MyFitnessTech sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. StepChase Pedometer asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for MyFitnessTech against 5.0 for StepChase Pedometer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyFitnessTech has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
