RepsLearn helps students actually remember the math they learn. Most students learn a concept, pass the test, and forget it within weeks. RepsLearn solves this using spaced repetition — a proven learning science technique that schedules reviews right before a student would forget, building long-term retention instead of short-term cramming. Built by a math professor and parent, RepsLearn covers grades 6–9 through Algebra 1 with thousands of personally curated questions aligned to Common Core standards. How it works: Students practice math questions that adapt to their level. The app tracks what they know and what they're forgetting, then automatically schedules reviews at the optimal time. Over time, concepts move from short-term to long-term memory. When students get something wrong, they don't just see the answer — an AI tutor uses Socratic questioning to guide them toward understanding their mistake. It identifies specific misconceptions and asks leading questions so students learn to think through problems, not just memorize answers. Features include: Spaced repetition engine that schedules reviews for maximum retention Adaptive difficulty that adjusts to each student's performance AI tutor with Socratic dialogue, hints, and worked examples Parent dashboard showing knowledge gaps, common errors, and weekly progress 30-day retention rate tracking Quick practice sessions that fit into any schedule Covers grades 6 through Algebra 1, Common Core aligned RepsLearn is not a full curriculum — it's the practice and retention layer that works alongside whatever your student is already learning in school or at home. Completely free. No ads. No paywall. No upsells. Built by an educator for students and families.

Solve It! teaches pre-algebra, the math that comes before Algebra 1, one idea at a time, with animated pictures that show why each rule works: why two negatives make a positive, why you flip and multiply, why the same move keeps a balance level. When a skill clicks, the Play tab turns it into a quick game. LEARN • 14 tracks and 66 short lessons on five paths. Numbers: Negative numbers, Fractions and decimals, Exponents and roots, Scientific notation, Real numbers. Proportion: Ratios and rates, Percent. Algebra: Expressions, Equations, Systems of equations. Graphs: Lines and slope, Functions. Geometry: Pythagorean theorem, Volume • Pictures for every idea: a thermometer, zero pairs, hops on a number line, x-bags, algebra tiles, an area model, a balance that makes the same move on both sides, ratio tables, double number lines, tape diagrams, percent bars, fraction bars, decimal grids, long division, square and cube stacks, slope steps on a grid, function machines, lines that cross, squares on a right triangle's sides, solids that fill up • Every lesson goes learn, practice, quiz, with no timer or lives • A wrong answer brings the picture back with a hint about that exact slip: adding the bottoms, flipping the wrong fraction, getting the sign wrong, reading a percent as dollars • Tell it where you are and it suggests a first lesson. Nothing is locked behind progress PLAY • Seven games: Integer blitz, Solve for x, Ratio tables, Percent of, Powers and roots, Find the slope, Right triangles • Pick the operations for Integer blitz, and one-step, two-step, negative or x-on-both-sides equations for Solve for x • Beat the clock for 1, 2 or 3 minutes with 3 lives, or get 20, 40 or 60 in a row on a stopwatch • Four answer choices, a ready-set-go countdown, and a cheer at streaks of 5, 10 and 20 • Best scores and times for every game and challenge, lesson progress and recent games on the Results tab PLAYERS • Optional local players, each with a name and an animal avatar • Each player's progress stays on this device FREE TO START All of Negative numbers is free, every lesson, and so is Integer blitz with every challenge. So is the first lesson of every other track. One in-app purchase unlocks everything else, once: the other 48 lessons and the Solve for x, Ratio tables, Percent of, Powers and roots, Find the slope and Right triangles games. No subscription. Family Sharing is on, so one purchase covers your family. PRIVATE AND AD-FREE No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your progress stays on your device. Works on iPhone and iPad, in portrait or landscape, in light or dark mode, with sound effects you can turn down or off.
