QRCode ScanStudio: PDF Lab is not a one-button QR reader. It is a structured code workspace for capturing, decoding, generating, exporting, and organizing machine-readable content on iPhone. The app combines a live camera scanning pipeline, still-image code extraction, semantic payload parsing, QR and barcode generation, document-to-PDF export, and a searchable local library in one native workflow. The result is a tool that behaves more like a compact content instrument than a disposable scanner utility. Live scanning is built on a real-time camera session with continuous autofocus, smooth focus behavior, center-weighted focus and exposure tuning, subject-area monitoring, torch control, and duplicate suppression logic. This helps the scanner remain stable during repeated reads and reduces accidental re-capture of the same payload. It also works beyond the camera. You can import an image from Photos and run barcode or QR detection on the still image, which is useful when codes are embedded in screenshots, posters, invoices, packaging, or archived media. Instead of treating every scan as raw text, the app classifies and interprets supported payloads into structured result types, including: URLs Email addresses Phone numbers SMS payloads Wi-Fi credentials vCard contact data Calendar event payloads Location-style payloads Plain text and generic barcode content When a payload contains structured data, decomposed fields are presented for faster review. For example, Wi-Fi content can expose network name, security type, and password fields; contact payloads can separate name, company, phone, and email; event payloads can surface title, location, start time, and end time. The built-in creation studio can generate scannable QR codes or barcodes for multiple real-world scenarios, including websites, text, Wi-Fi access, email, phone, SMS, contact cards, events, addresses, app links, crypto addresses, and selected social/profile shortcuts. Generated codes can be previewed, shared, stored, favorited, and revisited from the in-app library. For document workflows, PDF creation is available in two practical forms: Build one PDF from selected photos Capture paper pages with the document scanner and export them as a PDF file Everything is organized in a local history system with search, filters, favorites, generated-code records, scanned-result records, and PDF document records. Additional controls include optional scan history saving, haptic feedback, scan sound, detected-code highlighting, and automatic opening of scanned links when enabled by the user. AuthMatrix: OTP & Vault is not a one-tap scanner utility. It is a structured credential workspace designed around three connected layers of account protection: time-based verification, password storage, and security status review. The app helps users organize verification entries in a clearer, more operational way than a typical code list. Instead of behaving like a disposable scan tool, it presents authentication items as manageable account records with searchable access, visual identity, and direct setup status awareness. This makes the app closer to a lightweight security console than a generic QR utility. Core product structure includes: 1. Two-Factor Authentication Workspace Store and manage dynamic verification codes for supported accounts in a dedicated authentication area. Entries are presented as persistent account items rather than temporary scan results, helping users review and retrieve codes with less friction. The interface is optimized for quick recognition, direct access, and cleaner account separation. 2. Password Vault Layer The app also includes a password area for saving account credentials in one place. This gives users a unified structure for both login secrets and verification factors, reducing the need to switch between unrelated tools when maintaining account access. 3. Security Overview A built-in security section surfaces account protection status in a more diagnostic format. From the screenshots and current product design, this includes views such as weak password status, backup-related reminders, and accounts that have not yet enabled two-factor verification. This design helps users identify incomplete protection setups instead of only storing data passively. Designed for account management, not just code capture The product language and interface make it clear that the app is centered on authentication management and security organization. Search, categorized navigation, action-based entry points, and account-state prompts are built to support ongoing maintenance of digital credentials rather than a one-time scan-and-leave workflow. Focused interaction model The current design uses a tab-based structure to separate verification, password, and security tasks. This makes each function legible and purpose-driven: a verification area for active 2FA records a password area for saved credentials a security area for protection checks and setup reminders This separation is important because it changes the app from a “scanner” into a security workflow product. Cleaner security operations For users managing multiple services, the app provides a more systematic way to review what is protected, what is missing backup attention, and which accounts still need stronger setup. That functional framing is fundamentally different from a basic QR-reading experience. Whether users want a cleaner way to manage verification codes, keep passwords together, or review account security status from a single interface, AuthMatrix: OTP & Vault is designed as a compact account-security environment rather than a generic scanning app.
