DigitalSand

The Digital Hourglass app is a timer app that displays and sounds (or even vibrates) the "sense of time passing like sand falling," making it easy to create short periods of focus or relaxation routines. It's less rigid than a timer that simply counts down, and it offers a more calming experience.

The main upside with this timer is that it is simple and is mostly preset buttons versus dial based. And it doesn't save all your past timers if that annoys you like it does me.
