LostUrbex vs uMaps

An app where you can visit abandoned buildings research or explore

uMaps is a field map for urban explorers — the abandoned world, mapped and documented by the community. Discover documented ruins near you: hospitals, forts, factories, mines, theme parks, and ghost towns, each with photos, hazards, difficulty, and honest access notes that lead with legal routes first. A LOCATION MODEL THAT PROTECTS SITES Public pins are deliberately approximate. Exact coordinates and access notes unlock as you earn community reputation by documenting sites and logging visits — not by paying. Fragile places stay with explorers who've shown they document responsibly. FIELD-READY • Browse 185,000+ documented sites across 60+ countries • Log your visits with ratings and condition reports • Save spots and build lists for your next trip • Submit new sites — photos are stripped of GPS metadata on your device UMAPS PRO The app is free to browse, log, and submit. An optional uMaps Pro subscription adds: • Satellite map layer for scouting approaches • Rank the index by top-rated and most-logged • Unlimited saves and custom lists uMaps Pro is auto-renewing: $5.99/month or $35.99/year, each with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account, and the subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings. Pro never unlocks exact locations — safety-sensitive coordinates always stay earned. uMaps documents existing sites and does not encourage unlawful entry. Always follow posted laws; decaying structures are dangerous and you alone own the decision to step inside.
