Ripen

Your list keeps getting longer, and nothing on it ever gets finished. Ripen puts an expiry date on everything you write down. As time passes a task turns from green to yellow, from yellow to brown. Leave it long enough and it spoils. You don't have to read through the list ā the color alone tells you what to do first. ā Finish it before it spoils The closer the deadline gets, the more visibly the task changes. Work left alone goes soft and brown, and if you never touch it, it gets thrown out. Instead of nagging you with notifications, the list itself shows you what is urgent. ā Check it from the Lock Screen A Lock Screen card carries today's tasks. You can set your own photo behind it, so the screen you meet a hundred times a day looks like yours rather than like a scolding. ā Group things your own way You don't have to live inside the categories you were handed. You name the columns, and you set the conditions that decide which tasks land in them. The focus slots that hold only today's work are yours to arrange too. ā One calendar is enough Apple Calendar and Google Calendar events sit on the same screen as your tasks. No jumping between apps to check what's next. ā Turn repeating work into routines Whatever comes back every day or every week gets bundled into a routine. Each routine collects its own success rate and how long the work actually took, so you can see in numbers whether the plan was reasonable or never stood a chance. ā Everywhere, without opening the app Arrange Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets however you like. A Live Activity can keep whatever you're working on in view. ā What you finished, and how much of it Tag statistics show where your time went. Records go down to the individual task, so you can plan next week from what actually happened instead of from a hunch. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ultra Countdown at none against Ripen's 3. Ultra Countdown also leads on ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
