Some days you remember exactly where you went. Most days you don't. GPS Tracker keeps the route for you. Start a track, or let the app start one by itself the moment it notices you are driving, and it keeps recording in the background. If the system shuts the app down in the middle of a trip, the track comes back on the next launch with nothing lost. This app records your own movement and nobody else's. It doesn't show other people's location, and it doesn't share yours. RECORDING THAT STARTS ITSELF AutoTrack begins a recording once it detects driving, so the trip you forgot to start is saved anyway. An Auto Zone starts a recording once, when you leave an area you choose. Activity-Based mode follows you continuously and labels each stretch as walking, running, cycling, driving or standing still. In Single Track mode all of it stays in one unbroken line, colored by activity, so a walk, a bus ride and a walk home end up as a single trace. WHILE YOU ARE MOVING A Live Activity puts distance, speed and elapsed time on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with a stop button you can reach without opening the app. A live accuracy indicator shows how strong the fix is right now, so you know when the signal is worth trusting. MAPS AND OFFLINE Three map sources and nine styles: standard, satellite, hybrid, terrain, topographic, dark, minimal, open data and flyover. On the open-data source you can download map regions to your device and keep using them with no connection. Downloaded areas hold detail to zoom 17 on raster styles and zoom 14 on vector styles, which is street level where you need it. ROUTES, AND THE WAY BACK Plan a route for car, bike or hiking by tapping waypoints onto the map. The route is calculated online, then the shape and every turn instruction are stored on the device, so navigating works after the signal is gone. Arrows and text on screen give you the turns and warn you when you drift off the route. There is no spoken guidance, so nothing talks over your music. Any track you have saved can also be navigated in reverse, which is the quickest way back to the car or the trailhead. THE DETAIL AFTERWARDS Pins in 16 categories with notes: water, viewpoint, campsite, parking, fuel, hazard, restroom and more. An elevation profile you can scrub with a finger. Splits per kilometer, moving time, pace, average and top speed. A statistics dashboard with week, month and year charts, totals and streaks. Every track you own on one map at once, under a heat overlay that shows where you really spend your time. Share cards that turn a track into a finished image in four styles. GPX export for one track or for your whole filtered list. Any pin can be handed to another navigation app. YOURS, AND ONLY YOURS Your history lives on your device. Premium keeps your tracks in step across your own devices. There is no feed, no followers and nobody else in your data. Units are metric or imperial, chosen per measurement. HONEST LIMITS There is no address or place search: waypoints and pins are placed by tapping the map. Route planning needs a connection; only the finished route works offline. Offline map packs exist on the open-data source only. The app writes GPX files but does not read them. And GPS is GPS, so tunnels, deep canyons and indoor stretches will wander. SUBSCRIPTION Recording a track requires Premium. Browsing your saved tracks and statistics, planning a route and using the map itself all stay free. Premium starts with a free trial, then continues as a yearly or monthly subscription at the price shown in the app. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can manage or cancel it at any time in Settings. Features: • Designed to reduce battery consumption during navigation • Lightweight interface with minimal graphics • Helps reduce device heat on long trips • Clear turn-by-turn navigation • Real-time GPS location tracking • Fast route calculation • Simple, distraction-free driving experience • Optimized for extended navigation sessions Why choose this app? Long navigation sessions can quickly drain your battery and cause your phone to become hot, especially under direct sunlight or while charging in your vehicle. This app focuses on efficiency by minimizing on-screen rendering and unnecessary visual effects, allowing your device to dedicate more resources to navigation instead of graphics. Whether you’re commuting, traveling across the country, or working as a professional driver, you can navigate longer with less battery anxiety and a cooler-running device. Battery savings and temperature improvements may vary depending on your device model, display brightness, GPS usage, charging conditions, and other apps running in the background.
