Paper Void is a writing instrument for rituals — for your nights, your doubts, your hard moments, and for letting go. In the morning, put down what's still in your head: a worry, a dream, the first thoughts of the day. In the evening, write tomorrow down so you don't carry it to bed. In a hard moment, write the letter you will never send. Then end the page. Pinch it with two fingers until it collapses, or seal the letter in its envelope — and the words are gone. Not archived. Not in a trash folder. Gone. There is no save button, because there is nowhere to save to. WHY A PAGE THAT CANNOT BE KEPT Knowing something is saved changes what gets written. You soften it. You leave things out. You write the version you could stand to re-read — or that someone else could. Every other text field on your phone is quietly building a record, and some part of you is always writing for it. This one is building nothing. That is the whole feature. Three findings sit behind it: • Researchers at Nagoya University found that writing down a provocation and then physically crumpling the paper returned anger to baseline, while keeping the paper did not. (Kanaya & Kawai, Scientific Reports, 2024) • People who wrote down a thought and then threw the paper away gave it less weight in later judgements than people who kept it. (Briñol, Gascó, Petty & Horcajo, Psychological Science, 2013) • In a sleep-lab study, people who wrote a to-do list for the coming days before bed fell asleep faster than people who wrote about tasks they had already finished. (Scullin et al., Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, 2018) Paper Void is not a treatment and does not claim to be one. It is the paper and the bin, in your pocket, at 2am. THREE NOTEBOOKS, THREE RITUALS THE VOID — free, always A ruled page for what you need to let go of, morning or any hour. Write anything, then pinch with two fingers to crumple it. UNSENT LETTER For what you would never send. Choose who it is to — family, a friend, someone you love, yourself, someone gone — and the letter can begin with a first line for them. Write it, then pull it up into its envelope and seal it. It is sent nowhere. NIGHT LIST The evening ritual: tomorrow, so it isn't kept awake tonight. One task per line, each with its own box. Tick a task and it is struck through; the page counts what's done. Crumple it when the day is over. Unsent Letter and Night List are one-time purchases. Try one page of each, free, before you buy. THE PAGE • Each notebook has its own paper, light or dark: ruled bone, laid stationery, night paper • A handwriting typeface for your words, and the date and time the page began at the top • Writes Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and CJK correctly — not an English text box • Apple Pencil Scribble on iPad • Paper under a pen while you write • Four line spacings; follows your text size, Increase Contrast, and Reduce Transparency • The Void can open with one line — a permission, not a prompt. Switchable. THE GESTURE • The collapse tracks your fingers in real time — it is not an animation you trigger • It crackles in time with your fingers; stop, and the sound stops • It resists through four stages, and you can call it off until the last moment • A flash, a crunch, and a ghost of your words that dissolves and takes them with it • Afterwards, one line: "47 words. Gone." WHAT IS NOT HERE • No account, no cloud, no sync — there is no server to send anything to • Nothing you write is saved. A page stays open only until you end it or close the app • No history, no undo, no export, no backup • No AI. Nothing reads what you write, because nothing keeps it • Copy and Cut are switched off. Text can come in. It cannot leave. WHAT IT IS FOR • A morning ritual: morning pages, without the drawer of full notebooks • An evening ritual: tomorrow out of your head and onto a page • The hard moment: the message you need to write and never send Write it. Crumple it. Gone.

Some moments stop you. A number that keeps appearing. A thought that arrives right before a call. A stranger who says exactly what you needed to hear. Synchronicity is a quiet, private space to capture the moments that feel like more than coincidence. There is nowhere that feels right to put these moments. A notes app feels too clinical. Telling someone feels risky. Synchronicity was built for exactly this, a beautifully simple home for experiences the rest of the world might not understand. LOG MOMENTS AS THEY HAPPEN Before they slip away. Capture what happened, how it felt, and what type of moment it was, all in seconds. MAKE SENSE OF THEM OVER TIME Your moments collect into a feed that feels like a constellation of experiences, not a list of documents. Group related moments into threads, spot patterns across time, and revisit older entries with gentle reflection prompts. COMPLETELY PRIVATE No account required. No cloud. Everything you log stays on your device and belongs entirely to you. WHAT YOU GET Log moments as they happen. Tag by type: numbers, people, dreams, places, ideas, and more. Mark how strongly each moment landed. Group related moments into threads. See patterns in when and how your moments happen. Reflect on older entries with gentle prompts over time. Review your year of noticing. An optional tip supports independent development. Nothing is gated. Everything is yours from the first open. No account. No subscription. No data collected. Just your moments, kept beautifully.
