IntentMode

Most task managers help you organise your work. IntentMode helps you do it. The difference is Intent Mode — a full-screen focus timer that replaces your entire UI with one task and a countdown. No notifications. No sidebar. No reason to switch away. Just you, the task, and the time you've committed to it. Pick a task. Set a duration. Go. - INTENT MODE Enter a distraction-free full-screen session for any task. Set a duration from 5 to 480 minutes, pause and resume freely, and get a sound or voice notification when time's up. Optional focus notes let you capture thoughts without leaving the session. SMART SCHEDULING Assign due dates and filter your list by Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week, or Unscheduled. See exactly what needs your attention — nothing more. POMODORO TIMER Built-in Pomodoro with three presets: 15/3, 25/5, and 50/10. Work and break phases transition automatically. Live countdown in the header so you always know where you are. SPACES Keep work, personal, and side projects in separate lists. Switch contexts in one tap without mixing up your tasks. RECURRING TASKS Set any task to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or on a fully custom schedule — specific weekdays, "first Monday of the month", every two weeks. Complete it once and the next occurrence appears automatically. AMBIENT SOUNDS Eight looping soundscapes — Rain, Thunderstorm, Waves, River, Wind, Coffee Shop, Woodland, Crickets — each with its own volume slider. Open them directly from a focus session. 11 THEMES Light and Dark are free. Nine more in Pro: Navy, Dusk, Retro, Forest, Diner, Ocean Teal, Lavender, and Blush. The app you open every day should feel like yours. YOUR APP, YOUR WAY Every major feature can be toggled on or off. Don't use Pomodoro? Turn it off. Prefer a plain task list with no due dates? Done. IntentMode gets out of the way of how you actually work. - FREE TIER Unlimited tasks, Intent Mode, due dates and scheduling, Light and Dark themes. No time limit. No credit card. PRO — £6/month Unlimited spaces, all 9 premium themes, recurring tasks, Pomodoro timer, ambient sounds, and focus notes. 7-day free trial, no card required. - Also available on the web at intentmode.co — your tasks stay in sync across both. IntentMode is built for people who already know what they need to do — and just need to sit down and do it. - Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Mononote helps you focus on one note at a time. Simply open the app and write down anything you want your future self to remember, whether it's a to-do, reminder, or motivational note. Keep it visible on your Home Screen with a widget, or start a Live Activity to pin it to your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island when it's something more urgent. The app is intentionally simple, showing only one active note at a time. Archive or delete it when you're done, and a new blank note is ready for whatever comes next. Archived notes can always be restored if you need them again. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mononote at none against IntentMode's 1. Mononote also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
