Post your status without the mush. WhatsApp re-encodes everything you post. A video that looked crisp in your camera roll arrives on your viewers' phones soft, blocky and dull — and once that pass has run, the detail is gone for good. CleanStatus prepares your video before WhatsApp ever sees it, so its encoder has almost nothing left to take away. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick a video from your gallery. 2. Tap Prepare. We condition it to the size and shape status actually uses. 3. The finished clips arrive in your own WhatsApp chat. Forward them to My Status. That last step is yours to do. No app can post to WhatsApp status on your behalf — there is no API for it — and anything claiming otherwise is not telling you the truth. WHY IT LOOKS BETTER The order of operations is the whole trick. We scale to the exact frame status uses, then apply a sharpening pass afterwards — because the downscale is what removes fine detail, and putting some of it back after the fact is what survives WhatsApp's own compression. Skip that step and you hand a good file to the harshest encoder on your phone anyway.
