Bible App

Read English Bible commentary in Japanese, then listen to the translation. Bible App - Tridav automatically translates Matthew Henry and Barnes commentary on supported devices and reads the result with a matching system voice. Japanese is the default; choose another supported target in Settings. Compare Scripture, original-language resources and commentary in up to three panes. READ, COMPARE AND STUDY ⢠Choose Kougo-yaku, Freedom draft, KJV, WEB, Hebrew or Greek resources. ⢠Compare Scripture and commentary in up to three linked panes. ⢠Compare Gospel passages using the 143-section Broadus1893 harmony. ⢠Explore sayings of Jesus, original-language dictionaries, occurrences and related passages. ⢠Learn with the 12-lesson Hebrew 101 course. ⢠Search, bookmark, highlight, write notes, copy and share. ⢠Adjust type size, appearance and verse-line or paragraph display. ⢠Start Bible narration from the visible position, pause and resume. Choose whether playback continues across chapters. JAPANESE BIBLE EDITIONS Kougo-yaku (New Testament 1954; Old Testament 1955) and Japanese Freedom Bible (Draft) are bundled. The public-domain Freedom draft is supplied by eBible.org, dated August 19, 2026. Its native verse numbering and missing bodies are preserved without another-edition fallback. The Romans doxology is at 14:24ā26. Footnotes, reference notes and unnumbered headings, including Psalm superscriptions, are omitted from display and narration. Shinkaiyaku, Shinkyodoyaku and the Japan Bible Society Interconfessional Version are not included. TRANSLATE THE SELECTED BIBLE TEXT Translate the selected Scripture or commentary into your chosen language and compare it with the original. Machine output is clearly distinguished from bundled Bible editions. Apple translation requires supported iOS/iPadOS 18+ environments and language pairs. Not every pair is supported, and ancient Greek/Hebrew accuracy is not guaranteed. Prepare language data explicitly in Settings. Initial language and voice downloads may need a connection. Language-data deletion is managed by the OS, not directly by this app. Narration is synthesized and needs a matching system voice. Bundled reading and local study notes work offline. CAMPAIGN AND PURCHASES Every feature is free during the campaign through October 31, 2026, 23:59 Japan Standard Time. No purchase is needed and campaign access does not start or consume the optional seven-day trial. An already-started trial keeps its original end date. After the campaign, single-pane reading in all bundled editions, text search, Bible narration, bookmarks, highlights, notes, sayings of Jesus, MHCC concise commentary and Hebrew 101 lesson 1 remain free. When available, choose an optional free seven-day trial or a one-time Full Access purchase. Your local StoreKit price is shown before purchase. There is no subscription or automatic charge at trial expiry. The trial lasts seven days from the verified original App Store purchase date; restoring does not extend it. Full-access features: two/three panes, Gospel parallels, original-language tools, MHC/Barnes, TSK, automatic translation, commentary narration and Hebrew 101 lessons 2ā12. Saved study notes and progress remain after access ends. No Tridav account is required. Notes, reading position and learning progress are stored on your device. No app-operated cloud sync or Davar data migration is included.
