Stop spam texts and unwanted calls on your iPhone. SpamShield filters SMS from unknown senders and blocks calls from numbers you choose, entirely on your device. SMS FILTER Moves spam texts from unknown senders to the Spam list in Messages. Block senders by number, or by keywords you add, like loan or you won. Built-in checks for common scam phrases, suspicious links and promotional messages. Whitelist trusted numbers so their texts always get through. Optionally send every text from unknown senders to Spam. Adjust how strict the filter is. CALL BLOCKING Add a number to your Blacklist, and calls from it are blocked before your iPhone rings. EASY SETUP iOS lets you turn on SMS filters and call blocking only in the Settings app. SpamShield shows you every step with screenshots. To turn on the SMS filter, open Settings, then Apps, then Messages, tap Text Message Filter and select SpamShield. To turn on call blocking, open Settings, then Apps, then Phone, tap Call Blocking and Identification and turn on SpamShield. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Works fully offline, with no account and no servers. Filtering runs on your iPhone, and your lists and messages never leave it. GOOD TO KNOW SpamShield works on iPhone only. iOS sends only SMS and MMS from senders not in your contacts to the filter. iMessages and texts from your contacts are never filtered. iOS does not block calls from your contacts or from numbers you recently called.
