Prooft vs Kepto

Keep every receipt. Know what you can still return — and what's still under warranty. Snap a photo of any receipt and Prooft's AI pulls out the product, store, price and purchase date in seconds, files it by tax year, and reminds you before the return window closes and before the warranty runs out. Try it right away: your first scans need no account. SCAN, AND IT'S FILED Point your camera at a receipt, import from Photos or a PDF, or type it in by hand. You review every detail before it saves. Manual entry works offline. KNOW WHAT YOU CAN STILL RETURN Most things can go back for a while — you just can't remember how long. Prooft records the return window with the receipt and tells you before it closes, while a refund is still easy. REMINDERS THAT MATTER Push alerts 90, 30 and 7 days before each warranty ends, so you still have time to claim. RECALL WATCH (Pro) Prooft checks what you own against U.S. product safety recalls (CPSC) and checks your car against NHTSA vehicle recalls by VIN, and tells you when something you own is affected. YOUR RECEIPTS, ORGANIZED A searchable vault with categories, filters and sorting — every receipt grouped by tax year. Export a spreadsheet or a PDF of every receipt when you need it. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your vault lives on your iPhone and syncs through your own private iCloud. We never store your receipts on our servers. FREE TO START Add up to 25 items, attach receipt photos, get reminders and export — no account needed. You also get free AI scans every month. PROOFT PRO Unlimited items, unlimited AI scanning (fair use), AI warranty research and recall alerts. Prooft Pro is a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription, priced as shown in the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Kepto is a privacy first warranty and receipt tracker. Scan a receipt and Kepto reads the store, date, price and GST. File everything in one place. Get a calm notification a few weeks before each warranty ends, so you never miss a claim window. On iPhone 15 Pro and newer with Apple Intelligence on, Smart Scan uses Apple's on device Foundation Models for sharper extraction. The receipt is read right on your phone and never sent to a server. On other devices Kepto uses standard on device scanning. Made for people who keep proof: shoppers, renters, homeowners, anyone who has ever needed an old receipt for an insurance claim or a faulty product return. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no servers of our own. iCloud Sync is on by default and moves your receipts only between your own devices through your private iCloud account, never to us or anyone else. Turn it off any time to keep everything strictly on device. Manual backup lets you save every receipt and photo to a single file, so a reinstall, a new phone or just peace of mind is one tap away.
