Vellore vs StandBye

Vellore is for collectors who actually wear their watches. Track every wear with a single tap. See your true cost-per-wear. Get nudged when a piece you spent thousands on has been sitting in the box for weeks. Know which watches actually earn their place in the rotation. Built by a collector, for collectors. Every detail, from the dark luxury interface to the built-in reference clock, is designed for watch people who take the hobby seriously. — THE COLLECTION — Catalog every watch with photos, brand, model, reference number, serial number, dial color, movement type, purchase price, and more. Crop and edit photos directly in-app. Tag pieces by style (Dress, Diver, Sport, Tool, GMT, Casual) and filter your collection any way you like. Archive watches you've sold, gifted, or retired without losing their history. Photos and wear logs are preserved, and you can unarchive at any time if a piece comes back into your life. — WEAR TRACKING — Log a wear with a single tap. Use the "Pick for Me" randomizer when you can't decide what to wear today. Browse your full history through a calendar view that color-codes each day by what you wore. Wear streaks, milestone achievements, and a rotation score that grades how evenly you actually wear your collection, because the watches that sit in the box don't deserve the space they take. — INSIGHTS [Pro] — See your true cost-per-wear, calculated against actual purchase prices. Discover which watches are under-loved and which are earning their place. Brand and dial color distribution. Day-of-week wear patterns. Trend lines that show whether your habits are shifting over time. — SERVICE TRACKING [Pro] — Never miss a service interval again. Set reminders per watch, log maintenance history, and track water resistance tests and accuracy results for mechanical pieces. Full data export when you need it. — TIMEGRAPHER [Pro] — Check the accuracy of any mechanical watch using nothing but your phone. Rest the watch by the microphone and Vellore listens to the beat, reporting rate, amplitude, and beat error in real time. No timing machine required. Save each reading to the watch's history and see how it holds up over the years. — REFERENCE CLOCK — A built-in chronometer-grade reference clock for setting your watches. Shows local time, ZULU/UTC, moon phase, day-date, and next leap year. For when you want to set a watch the right way. — HOME SCREEN WIDGETS — Quick Log a wear straight from your home screen. Watch of the Day with configurable algorithms (least-worn, random, or your own rules). Stats modules for streaks, collection size, and wear trends. A Custom widget that lets you mix and match modules to your exact taste. Gold border toggle for that extra touch. — VELLORE PRO AI — Vellore Pro AI is an optional subscription that brings a set of AI tools built for collectors, and it includes everything in Vellore Pro. - Style Me: photograph today's outfit and get the four watches from your collection that pair best with it, each with a stylist's reasoning. - Strap Stylist: get the strongest pairings from the straps you already own. - Wrist to Wardrobe: pick a watch and see the outfits and dress codes it shines with. - What's Missing and Health Check read your whole collection for the gaps in it and the shape it's in. - Declutter Advisor and Curator's Note give an honest keep-or-sell take on your quietest pieces and a short written portrait of the collection. - Wishlist Advisor flags which wishes add something new versus repeat what you own. Populate Specs fills a full spec sheet from just a brand, model, and reference. Built in Portugal by a collector who wanted this app for himself.
