Great beans deserve to be enjoyed fresh. BeanFresh helps you track coffee freshness from the roast date. Register each bag with its roast date, name, roaster, origin, process and roast level โ with a photo โ and the app gently reminds you at the right moments along the journey from resting to peak flavor to fading freshness. No more opening a bag of specialty or home-roasted coffee, forgetting about it, and letting those expensive beans go stale. WHO IT'S FOR - You buy specialty or home-roasted coffee - You've regretted finding a bag long past its peak - You keep several bags going at once - You want to recreate your best cup every time KEY FEATURES Automatic freshness window Just enter the roast date and BeanFresh calculates the resting period, peak window, and drink-by date for you. Bags are sorted by drink-by date, so you always know which to brew next. A freshness meter shows how much of the peak is left at a glance. Freshness reminders Get notified the day before peak, the day it reaches peak, and when it's nearly time to finish the bag. When freshness starts to fade, BeanFresh keeps gently reminding you until the bag is done. Brew log to recreate your cup Record the method, dose, water, temperature, grind, time, rating and flavor notes. The coffee-to-water ratio (1:X) is calculated automatically, and your ratings appear on a trend chart โ so your best recipe becomes clear from the data.
