Gomgom
Read full descriptionHide full description
Gomgom is an AI reading and writing coach that keeps children on paper and pencil instead of a screen. For grades 4 through 9, one piece a day: read, think, write. This is not an app you leave running. The passage prints to A4 and is read on paper. The thinking is written by hand, on paper. The app is opened only to photograph the finished page and let Gomgom ask a question about it. No screen-time guilt โ just the habit of sitting with paper and pencil. Gomgom the bear never hands over the answer. It asks the kind of question that makes a child push their own thinking one step further. Please note: Gomgom is a Korean-language app. The reading passages, the coaching conversations, and the entire interface are in Korean. This listing is in English so Korean-speaking families abroad can find it. HOW IT WORKS 1. Read the passage โ social studies, science, literature, and ethics texts matched to your child's grade, printed on paper (every passage has a PDF print button) 2. Take a stance โ decide whether you agree with the writer's claim 3. Write your reasons โ put down why you think what you think 4. Talk it through with Gomgom โ answer Gomgom's questions and sharpen the thought 5. Keep it as a finished piece โ reading, thinking, and writing stack up as a learning record FOR PARENTS - Reading happens on paper. Screen reading is not the default; the app is for what comes after โ talking the thinking through and keeping the record. - No ads. There are none anywhere in the app. - Minimal data from your child. Sign-up and payment run through the parent account, and the child uses only a nickname and a grade. We do not collect a child's real name or date of birth. WHAT IT BUILDS - Thinking: separating a claim from its evidence, and holding a position of your own - Literacy: the habit of reading a grade-level passage calmly, all the way to the end - Writing: one complete read-think-write cycle a day FEATURES - Korean reading passages by grade, for upper elementary and middle school - Print (PDF) button โ one or two A4 pages with the grade, title, and discussion questions - Socratic conversation with Gomgom, in child-appropriate Korean with safety guardrails - A light comprehension quiz on what was read - A learning and growth record parents can open SUBSCRIPTION Gomgom Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. SnapDeck turns scattered class material into a study deck you can actually use. Import a batch of screenshots from Photos or bring in one or more PDFs from Files, then let SnapDeck extract the text and generate clear, grounded flashcards in a simple question-on-front and answer-on-back format. Built for focused study: - Batch-process screenshots or PDFs - Use on-device Vision OCR to pull text from typed or handwritten material - Generate clean flashcards from notes, textbook excerpts, worksheets, and review packets - Study one card at a time with tap to reveal, next card, restart, and shuffle - Keep decks saved locally for quick review later - No account, no subscription, no clutter SnapDeck is designed for students who want faster review, stronger retention, and a privacy-first utility they can buy once and keep using. EXAM COUNTDOWN (NEW IN 2.2) Put a date on the calendar and SnapDecks answers the only question that matters: will you be ready? A forward simulation of your deck's real FSRS memory model forecasts recall on exam day - if you keep up versus if you stop today - corrected by your own measured Exam Lab overconfidence. The cards that won't survive to exam day get flagged, and one tap rescues them while there's still time.
