Airframed

Point your phone at a plane. Take the photo. Airframed works out what it was. Every aircraft you photograph becomes a catch: a ticket stub printed with the type, the airline, the airport you saw it at, and the registration on its tail when it can be read. Common types fill in quickly. An A380 does not. ONE TAP, THEN GET ON WITH IT The camera opens, you take the shot, and the catch is saved immediately. Identification happens afterwards, on its own. You are never left waiting on a spinner while an aircraft flies out of frame. Framing guides help you get the whole aircraft, and its registration, in shot. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL Capture needs nothing but the camera. Photograph a plane on a runway, on a hillside, or at 35,000 feet with the radios off — your catches queue up and identify themselves the next time you have a connection. STAMP YOUR PASSPORT Every aircraft family you catch is a stamp in your passport. See how many variants of each you have, and which you are still missing. RARITY THAT IS COUNTED, NOT INVENTED An A380 is Epic because fewer than 200 still fly. A 747 is Rare for the same reason. Every grade comes from real counts of how many airframes of that type are actually in the air, so a rare catch is genuinely rare. COLLECT INDIVIDUAL AIRCRAFT Where the registration is readable, Airframed records the specific airframe — not just "an A380", but that A380. Photograph the same tail twice and it knows. RACE OTHER SPOTTERS Join the leaderboard to be ranked by the XP your identified photos earn — this week or all time, everywhere or at your home airport. It is opt-in: nobody sees you until you choose a name. YOUR PHOTOS STAY YOURS Every photo is saved on your phone, and a copy goes to your photo library if you allow it. Photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude to identify the aircraft and are not stored on our server. The airport tag comes from your location, which never leaves your phone. WHAT YOU GET • One-tap capture that never waits on a network • Automatic identification: type, variant, family, airline, registration • Every catch tagged with the airport it was taken at • Rarity grades counted from real fleet sizes • A passport of stamps, one per aircraft family • XP, ranks, week streaks and badges • An opt-in weekly leaderboard • Share any catch as a card No ads. No subscriptions. No tracking.
