Fourier App
Read full descriptionHide full description
Fourier App is an interactive tool for visualizing and computing Fourier Series of piecewise functions. Define custom functions with multiple pieces and discontinuities, choose the time window, and instantly see the original signal x(t) alongside its series approximation s(t). Browse a built-in catalog with classic examples like sine, cosine, step function, rectangular, triangular, ramp, parabola, and more. View the frequency spectrum with an, bn, and cn coefficients, filter partial series terms, and explore how each harmonic contributes to the final waveform. Includes a theory section covering Fourier Series history, equations, and real-world applications such as audio streaming and noise cancellation.

Monium puts superconducting-qubit physics in your pocket — a mobile companion to the open-source scqubits library, built for researchers, students, and the quantum-curious. Pick a qubit, tune its parameters with live sliders, and watch the physics update in real time: • Energy spectrum vs. any swept parameter • Wavefunctions over the potential (and in the charge basis) • Matrix elements as a heatmap, and vs. the swept parameter • T1 / T2 coherence times per noise channel • Exact computed values behind every plot, as tables Supported qubits: Transmon, Tunable Transmon (SQUID), and Fluxonium. Built for real work: • Enter the Josephson energy the way you measure it — critical current, junction inductance, or room-temperature normal-state resistance (with a cryo/room ratio). • Save and reload presets per qubit. • Convergence indicators so you can trust the numbers. Everything runs on-device. No account, no ads, no tracking, no network — your work stays on your phone. Monium mirrors scqubits' conventions, and its results are tested against it: energy spectra, matrix elements and coherence times for all three qubits are checked against the Python library's own output.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Fourier App at Free against Monium's $3.99. Fourier App also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Monium's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
