Because these situations are so difficult to picture concretely, many children end up feeling that math just isn't for them. "How Math Works" recreates these hard-to-picture situations on a tablet or smartphone, so children can actually see and touch them — helping them build a concrete, intuitive image of what's really going on. - Key Features Explore pages that recreate situations like slicing a cube at an angle or two brothers walking around a pond, where you can move the objects around and observe what happens. More than 30 experiences included! Draw scribbles directly on top of any page. (Scribbles are not saved — please use your device's screenshot feature if you'd like to keep them.) This app performs no network communication whatsoever. All features work completely offline. Nothing you do in the app affects anything outside of it, so children can explore and experiment to their heart's content.
