Live coaching and timing. Kerbz Laps turns your device into a GPS lap timer for track days: it times every lap from the start/finish line, shows you as you drive whether you're ahead of your best, reads out your lap times, coaches you from your own best laps, and keeps the whole session for when you're back in the paddock. ON TRACK • Lap times from the GPS, timed where you crossed the line, not when the next reading came in • A live gap to your best lap at this track, in this car and these conditions, with your predicted lap time and your speed against your best • The screen fills green when you're ahead and red when you're behind, big enough to read at a glance • A new best lap lights up the screen, and every lap time is read out loud, through your device or your car's speakers • Timing starts when you drive off and asks to stop when you pull in • On your out lap, how far you have left to the start/finish line VOICE COACHING (with a free Kerbz account) • Before a turn where you have time to find, a tip from your own best lap there: "Turn 2: carry 4 mph more out of the turn, like your best" • A word when you match or beat your best through a turn, or set a new best lap • It waits until it has enough laps to go on, and never asks for more than you've already done AFTER THE SESSION • Your best lap, your optimal lap (your best through each part of the track, added up), your average, your top speed and how consistent you were • Turn by turn: your time, and your speed into the turn, mid-turn and out of it • Where the time is: the turns with the most to gain, and what your best lap did differently there • Where you braked, turned in and got back on the power, lap against lap, next to your best • Film the road with your device's camera or a GoPro, then watch it back with your lap data over the video, two laps side by side YOUR KERBZ LOGBOOK • Save your sessions to your Kerbz logbook, with the event, who ran it and your car • Registered for the event on Kerbz? The day is already in your logbook • Put your best lap on the track's leaderboard, where it goes up once its video is added MADE FOR THE TRACK • Works with no signal: tracks and your cars are kept on your device, and your sessions upload when you're back online • Your cars come from your Kerbz garage • Needs a device with built-in GPS Kerbz Laps is for closed race tracks only. Never use it on public roads. Set everything up before you drive, mount your device firmly, and don't touch it while the car is moving.
