SpellDrop

Letters fall. You spell. Drag to steer each letter, swipe down to drop it, and finish a word across or down to watch it burst into paper confetti. New in 3.0: hold a letter and swipe through its neighbors to write a word in ink anywhere on the board. When falling letters form the next word, a chain reaction starts. HOW IT PLAYS • Letters fall onto an 8 × 12 board. Drag left or right anywhere and the letter follows your finger. Swipe down to drop it, tap to turn a pair. • Words of three letters or more, across or down, burst and everything above them falls. • Chain reactions: when falling letters spell a new word, it bursts too and your combo keeps climbing. • Write in ink: hold a letter until it lifts, then swipe through touching letters in any direction, diagonals too. A word costs ink; every word you build by dropping letters earns ink back. • Keep every column below the top row. A word that brings a tall column back down earns a Saved bonus, and the closer to the top, the bigger it is. • The color of a tile shows its points: sage for everyday letters, then teal, amber and dusty rose for rare letters like Q and Z, worth 10. PICK YOUR PACE • Classic: the higher your score, the faster the letters fall. How long can you keep every column clear of the top? • Zen: no clock and unlimited ink. Every letter waits until you drop it. • Today's challenge: the same letters for everyone, every day. Your first game counts on today's board. • Duel: play a fresh set of letters, send a short code to a friend and see who scores more on the same letters. • Kids mode: no clock, big tiles, single letters, everyday words and unlimited ink. Tap a column and the letter drops right there. Inky the ink drop gives hints. No ads and no offers. • A weekly tournament and leaderboards for each word language. SPELL IN YOUR LANGUAGE Spell with more than 30,000 everyday English words and their common forms, with obscure filler words removed. Or switch at any time to Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish or Czech words. The menus speak the same ten languages. COME BACK TOMORROW • Daily missions, a weekly challenge, a word chest and streak rewards • A word codex that keeps every word you have found • Bonuses for tight spots: Re-Roll, Bomb, Wild, Color Blast and Hint. More open up as you level up. • Special tiles now and then: ×2 Word, Ink pot and Bomb tile • Progress syncs through iCloud, so it follows you to your iPad or a new iPhone • Full screen on iPad, upright or sideways, and on iPhone Duo, open or closed • A light paper look or a dark ink look, calm music and soft sounds • Missing a word? Report it in the game and we'll review it. Free to play, with ads and optional in-app purchases. A one-time Remove Ads purchase turns off the ads between rounds, and optional rewards then arrive without a video. Drop your first letter and see how many words you can find before a column reaches the top.
