Range is a vocal trainer that listens while you sing. Every exercise is played on a real grand piano in your own range, and you watch each note you sing land on its target as you sing it. FIND YOUR VOICE IN TWO MINUTES The Voice Snapshot is a guided range test: glide down to your lowest comfortable note, up to your highest, and match a few notes on the way. Range draws your range on a piano keyboard, marks your chest, mix and head zones, and suggests your voice type, from bass to soprano. Test again any time and watch your range grow. SING ON THE PITCH HIGHWAY The notes of each exercise scroll across the screen and your voice draws a line through them. Range follows the center of each note, so healthy vibrato is never marked off pitch. With headphones the piano plays along with you. On the speaker it plays each phrase first and you sing it back, so the piano never gets mistaken for your voice. A WARM-UP THAT ASKS HOW YOU FEEL Tap how your voice feels today. The Daily Warm-up runs breath, lip trills, glides and vowels in your range. Tired? It stays in the easy middle. Sore? It switches to Gentle Recovery, with nothing high or loud. 29 EXERCISES, EACH PITCHED TO YOU Pitch accuracy, range, agility runs and riffs, mix and bridges, sustain and vibrato, breath control and cool-downs. Every exercise explains how to do it and why it helps, starts in a comfortable part of your voice and reaches further as you get it right. AFTER EVERY EXERCISE See how many notes landed and whether you tend to sing sharp or flat. Long-note exercises also measure how steady you hold the note, and the speed and width of your vibrato. SONGS IN YOUR KEY Add the songs you sing with their lowest and highest notes, or sing those notes to set them. Range shows whether each song fits your range and how many semitones to move it if it does not. PLAY A live tuner shows any note you sing. In Pitch Flight you steer a star through gates with your voice. YOUR PROGRESS Charts of your range and pitch accuracy over time, and a daily practice streak. On a sore day, Gentle Recovery keeps it going without strain. FREE - Voice Snapshot range test, as often as you like - Daily Warm-up and Gentle Recovery - 11 exercises, the live tuner and Pitch Flight - Up to 5 songs, your last 5 range tests and your last 7 sessions of accuracy RANGE PRO - A Full Workout built around your goals - All 29 exercises and a focus session for each skill - Before You Perform and Cool-down sessions - Your complete range and accuracy history - Unlimited songs, each with its own warm-up Range listens on your iPhone only. Nothing you sing is recorded or sent anywhere. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Find your vocal range and voice type by singing. Vocal Range Finder listens through your microphone, guides you from your lowest note to your highest, and shows where your voice sits — bass, baritone, tenor, countertenor, alto, mezzo-soprano or soprano. A GUIDED TWO-STEP TEST ▶ Step 1: slide down to the lowest note you can sing clearly and hold it. Take a breath and hold it once more — the app only accepts an end you can repeat, so a single growl or crack cannot fake your range. ▶ Step 2: slide up to the highest note you can sing in full voice and confirm it the same way. ▶ Tap Finish. If the two ends are less than a fifth apart, the app asks you to sing higher instead of guessing a voice type from too little data. YOUR RANGE ON A PIANO • Lowest and highest note with the number of octaves you cover • Your range lit up on a piano keyboard, with the comfortable zone where you held notes longest marked inside it • Your voice type, plus a Guide tab listing the typical range of all 7 voice types • Singers whose range lines up with yours and songs that sit well for your voice • A range card you can share with your choir, teacher or friends PRACTICE: ONE NOTE AT A TIME The Practice tab sets a target one semitone past your current top or bottom. Sing toward it — the app tells you whether you are too low or too high — and hold it steadily for about a second. Once you do, that note is added to your saved range. Switch between extending your high and your low, and see how many notes you reached over the last 7 days. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS Your range is saved after each test, so you can see how it changes as you warm up, train and grow. Tests from the same day are combined into one daily result, and the app keeps up to 60 of these daily results. WHO IT'S FOR Choir singers finding their part, voice students and teachers, karaoke fans choosing the right key, and anyone who has wondered "what's my voice type?" TIPS FOR AN ACCURATE READING Use a quiet room, warm up gently first, and sing single steady notes rather than sliding quickly. Results depend on your microphone, background noise and how warmed up you are. Voice-type boundaries differ between teachers and methods, so treat the result as a guide rather than a strict label. Sing within your comfort. Stop if anything hurts or feels strained — range grows with short, regular, relaxed practice.
