About

Spice Level

Features

Spice Level tells you what you're getting into before chapter one. Type a romance title and get: • Spice level, 0 to 5: how much happens on the page • Explicitness, 0 to 3: how blunt the language is • Tropes and content warnings • Whether it ends happily • Six books to read next, each with a one-line reason, filtered spicier, milder, or same trope Every rating is estimated from the book's description and labelled that way until five readers agree, when it becomes reader-confirmed. Rate any book yourself in a couple of taps, add warnings and tropes, and add a book the catalogs don't have yet by pasting its description. Author pages show an author's whole catalogue with their typical spice, subgenres, and top tropes. No accounts, no tracking, no ads. Buy or borrow links go to Kindle, Audible, Bookshop.org, Apple Books, Kobo, and your library. Some links are affiliate links. Spice Level describes the sexual content of books. It does not show explicit material.
