Health Blocks
Read full descriptionHide full description
Your health. At a glance. Health Blocks turns Apple Health data into clear, customizable blocks for your iPhone Home Screen and paired Apple Watch. Choose a measurement, chart, and time frame. Add a goal when you want a target to work toward. Your measurements come from Apple Health, so there is no extra data logging. MAKE YOUR OWN BLOCKS • Track elevation gain, workout distance, cardio time, and session counts for the activities you choose. • Follow calories, protein, carbs, fat, and other nutrition data. • View sleep duration and stages, heart rate, HRV, VO₂ max, body measurements, and more. • Choose numbers, bars, lines, rings, a filling goal bar, goal dots, or a workout list. • Set goals and view today, this week, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, or the past year. • Pick light or dark appearance and colors from a focused palette. TWO VIEWS OF CALORIE BALANCE Daily Net Bars shows each day's calorie deficit or surplus. Energy Totals Bars and Rings compare calories consumed with active and resting energy burned. Incomplete days are identified and excluded rather than treated as zero. The optional weight-change value is an energy-equivalent estimate, not a measurement of fat loss. ON IPHONE AND APPLE WATCH Place saved blocks on your Home Screen, in the Watch Smart Stack, or in supported watch-face complication slots. Small complications use clear numbers and rings suited to the space. Apple controls update timing; Health Blocks requests updates when new Health data arrives and according to your preferred refresh setting. THREE BLOCKS FREE Save up to 3 blocks free with every supported metric, chart, goal, and color included. Place the same saved block more than once. The optional Unlimited Blocks upgrade is a one-time purchase with no subscription. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, advertising, or third-party analytics. Health access is read-only. Your blocks, goals, and cached readings stay on your devices and sync to your paired Watch. Health Blocks never writes or deletes records in Apple Health. Measurements must already exist in Apple Health and be shared with the app. Availability depends on your device and data sources. Health Blocks is for personal tracking and is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions.

Verdict
The clearest difference is device support: Health Blocks at 3 against Just Steps's 1. On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
