About

Da'em

Features

Da'em asks one question, at the moment it matters: did you pray? When a prayer's window opens, a Time-Sensitive reminder arrives with two buttons β€” "I prayed" and "Not yet". Answer it straight from the Lock Screen. No unlocking, no opening the app, nothing to type. If you're not ready, "Not yet" brings the question back in a few minutes. If the window is closing, a last call tells you plainly how much time is left β€” and Fajr's names the sunrise, because that is the deadline that actually matters. GENTLE, HONEST GRADING β€’ Prayed early in the window is green. Prayed later is yellow. Both count. β€’ A window that closed unanswered is red β€” information, never a lecture β€” and you can still record it as qada. β€’ Your day is one number out of five, and a ring that fills as it goes. A RECORD YOU CAN CORRECT β€’ Today: the prayer that's open now, a live countdown, and the five rows of the day. β€’ History: the week as dots, the month as a heatmap, any day openable down to its five prayers. β€’ Insights: current and longest streak, on-time rate, which prayer is hardest for you, how late you tend to be, and your qada tally. β€’ Anything can be edited later. Life happens away from the phone, and a record you can't correct is a record you stop trusting. BUILT AROUND THE REMINDER β€’ Choose how insistent it is β€” Gentle, Standard or Persistent β€” for all five prayers or one at a time. β€’ An optional quiet heads-up before the time, so you can finish what you're doing and pray at the start of the window. β€’ Snooze from 1 to 30 minutes. Short windows compress the ladder automatically instead of flooding you. β€’ Alert tones are the app's own: a short glass motif, and a longer one for when the phone is across the room. β€’ A health check that names the exact iOS switch holding reminders back, and takes you to it. β€’ Answers work from your Apple Watch too, when iOS mirrors the notification to your wrist. MATCH YOUR MOSQUE β€’ Calculation method, madhab for Asr, and a high-latitude rule. β€’ Nudge any prayer up to 30 minutes either way so the app agrees with the times you actually hear. Sunrise is astronomy, not an announcement, so it never moves β€” the Fajr window still ends exactly at sunrise. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION β€’ No account. No server. No analytics. No ads. β€’ The app makes no network calls at all. Put the phone in Airplane Mode and nothing changes. β€’ Your record lives in one file on this iPhone. Export it as CSV whenever you like, or erase everything in two taps. WHAT IT ISN'T No subscription. No leaderboard. No streak guilt, no sad animations, no "you broke the chain". It does one job: get you to the prayer while its window is still open. English and Arabic, with full right-to-left layout. Designed for iOS 26.
