Accelerate Your Learning Curve, Risk-Free. Most traders struggle in their first year because they skip practice and jump straight into the live market. Pilots log hundreds of simulator hours before they ever fly a plane. But for traders, there hasn’t been a truly convenient way to practice — until now. Chart Alpha is your flight simulator for the markets. Master your edge with 38,000+ real market scenarios across 800+ tickers and multiple timeframes, from swing trading to scalping. Every bar, you call the shots: LONG, SHORT, or CASH. Then you advance the chart and instantly see the results. It’s the active, rapid-fire practice that separates profitable traders from everyone else. Compress Years Into Weeks. Grind 1 year of market history in under 1 minute. Turn your commute, your lunch break, your dead time into rapid-fire rounds that build raw trading instincts. No waiting for live candles to slowly paint the screen. No paying market tuition with real money. The Lesson Most Trading Education Skips. Trading is a game of probabilities, not perfection. After a few hundred rounds in the simulator, you'll see exactly where your instincts are sharp and where they need work—holding losers too long, cutting winners too early, ignoring trends, or overtrading in choppy markets. Hard Data. Every Session. Your alpha vs. benchmark, win rate, profit factor, max drawdown, and more — tracked across every game. You don't guess if you have an edge. You know, because the numbers prove it. The Ultimate Challenge: Beat Buy & Hold. Most Wall Street fund managers can't. Can you? Who This Is For: • The aspiring trader who needs real instincts before going live with real money • The swing trader who wants to compress years of screen time into weeks • The data-driven trader who wants hard numbers on their strengths and weaknesses • The day trader who wants to sharpen entries and exits on 1-min and 5-min charts • Anyone who knows the difference between profitable and unprofitable is pattern recognition — and pattern recognition requires practice, not textbooks Features: • 800+ real tickers across stocks, ETFs, crypto, and forex • 38,000+ unique charts to practice • 3 vault modes: Swing (daily/weekly), Day Trade (5-min), and Scalping (1-min) • Campaign mode: trade through real market events like the Dot-Com Crash and COVID • Star rating system with leveling and daily quests • Share charts of your best trades with friends • Full indicator suite: SMA, EMA, Bollinger Bands, RSI, MACD, and more • Advanced order types: limit orders, stop losses, and take profits • Detailed post-game analytics: alpha, win rate, profit factor, drawdown, and more Trading Education That Doesn't Cost You a Fortune. Trading education is broken. Courses cost thousands. Paper trading is slow. And live markets charge tuition in blown accounts. We built Chart Alpha because everyone deserves access to the experience that builds real skill — not just the people who can afford to lose money learning. No subscriptions required to play. No paywalls on the core experience. Just you, the charts, and the edge you're building. There is no secret indicator. There is no magic pattern. The only difference between a profitable trader and everyone else is 10,000 more charts. Play more. Trade better. Read the chart. Make your move. See what happens next. ChartGame is a trading-practice game with virtual money, historical stock and crypto replays, daily challenges, and short chart missions. PLAY PATTERN QUEST Play three-round missions to spot evidence, mark price levels, catch near misses, and choose your next move. Build combos, earn medals, and improve your personal best without a countdown or lives. Campaign chapters introduce candles, trends, price zones, risk planning, range breakouts, breakout retests, trend pullbacks, and failed breakouts. Choose Quick Play for a mix of unlocked practice skills. Try Skill Challenges on unseen charts to demonstrate what you learned. Open Rules & examples to compare historical cases against the same pattern definitions. A risk drill comes before executable trading exercises. Quest points reward decisions and evidence; profit and speed do not earn points. Quest progress stays separate from your trading career and is saved on your device. REPLAY THE MARKET Reveal historical stock and crypto charts one candle at a time. The ticker stays hidden while you decide, then the result reveals the market behind the chart. Try simulated long or short positions and compare your return with buy-and-hold. Included replay charts and Pattern Quest work offline. BUILD YOUR STRATEGY Inspect candles, use technical indicators and drawing tools, and try simulated market, limit, stop, stop-limit, and trailing-stop orders. Review your results and practice again. TAKE THE DAILY CHALLENGE Play the assigned chart and compare results with players in the same challenge version. Explore public rankings and follow other players. PRACTICE WITH LIVE CRYPTO PRICES Manage a virtual portfolio using live crypto market data. Orders and fills are simulated inside ChartGame; no order is sent to an exchange. An internet connection is required, and order entry pauses when a usable current price is unavailable. CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER Pick from 24 illustrated mascot avatars, all available immediately, or choose a photo for your device. Existing avatar selections are preserved. Built-in avatar identities can appear in public profiles; your selected photo stays local. No email registration is required. Online features use a guest-account identifier and public nickname. Rankings, live prices, market news, and account deletion need an internet connection. Profile includes reporting, blocking, and account deletion controls. ChartGame does not accept deposits, provide withdrawals, connect a brokerage account, or execute real-money trades. Simulated performance does not predict real trading results.
