Vision Test โ€“ Eye Check lets you quickly screen your eyesight using three clinically inspired vision tests. Check color vision, visual acuity, and distance clarity with tools modeled after real ophthalmology screening methods. The app combines structured testing with simple controls so you can run quick vision checks anytime. Whether you want to monitor eyesight changes, check for color vision deficiencies, or challenge your visual acuity, the app provides guided tests and detailed results. Three Vision Tests Color Vision Test (Ishihara Style) Detect potential color blindness using a series of Ishihara-style plates. The test gradually increases in difficulty and includes advanced color patterns commonly used in professional screening. Visual Acuity Test (Tumbling E) Measure how clearly you can see using a Tumbling E exam across multiple Snellen levels. Simply tap the direction the E is facing to complete the test. Snellen Chart Test Use the classic eye chart found in clinics. Read rows of Sloan letters that gradually decrease in size to evaluate your distance vision. Track Your Vision Over Time All results are automatically saved so you can monitor changes in eyesight. Each record includes your score, completion time, and test type. You can also export a formatted PDF report of your results for reference or sharing. Challenge Mode Push your eyesight further with a high-difficulty mode designed for experienced users. One incorrect answer ends the test, and scores are submitted to global Game Center leaderboards. Share Results Instantly share results with friends, family, or colleagues using the built-in share sheet. Export your full testing history as a clean PDF report. About

OcuScreen

Features

OcuScreen is a simple way to keep an eye on your vision and the look of your eyes, right from your iPhone. Eleven short self-guided checks cover the basics: how clearly you see up close and at a distance, whether colours look right, whether your eyes track together, how your pupils and eyelids look, and more. Each check takes a minute or two and gives you a plain green, orange or red result with a clear next step โ€” never a diagnosis. HOW IT WORKS Pick a check, follow the on-screen steps, and get your result immediately. Four checks โ€” sight clarity, near vision, contrast sensitivity and dry-eye signs โ€” are free to try once each. Three checks let you answer out loud instead of tapping, recognised entirely on your iPhone. TRACK CHANGES OVER TIME Every result is saved on your iPhone so you can look back, compare, and notice changes between visits to an eye-care professional. FIND EYE CARE NEARBY A built-in map helps you find eye care close to you โ€” always free, no credits needed. CREDITS AND PRICING After your free tries, checks use credits โ€” most cost 1, a few longer ones cost 2. Buy a credit pack sized for one, two or three full rounds of every check, with a better price per credit the bigger the pack. Or buy the lifetime unlock once and never think about credits again โ€” a single one-time payment, no subscription, ever. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your photos and results stay on your iPhone. OcuScreen reads nothing from Apple Health, tracks nothing, and shows no ads. OcuScreen is a wellness and screening tool. It is not a medical device. It has not been reviewed or cleared by the FDA, the EU MDR system, or any other medical regulator. It does not replace an eye doctor.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: OcuScreen at none against Vision Test's shown. Vision Test's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
