Talk with the world in your own language. Arirang is where people meet over Korean culture — make friends worldwide, video call with live translated captions, and chat without a language barrier. NEW: JUST SAY IT In a 1:1 chat, tap the mic and talk. Arirang writes down what you say and sends it with a translation, so your friend reads it in their own language. WHY PEOPLE LOVE ARIRANG • Live translated captions on 1:1 video calls — speak naturally and read what they say in your language • Chats that translate themselves — you write in yours, they read in theirs • Voice input that turns what you say into a translated message • Meet people who share your interests — K-pop, K-dramas, webtoons, travel, food and more • Madang: share posts, photos and videos up to 5 minutes, reply to each other, and find your people • Send gifts, from a coffee to a rocket — gifts you receive turn into call time • Free beauty filters on every video call • Save the photos and videos friends send you straight to your Photos • Private by design — no cross-app tracking, and we never sell your data LANGUAGE IS NEVER A BARRIER Speech recognition works in 60 languages, and chat messages translate into more than 100. On a video call, Arirang listens and shows live captions of what the other person says, already in your language. Photos, videos, voice messages and your location can go along too. MEET THE WORLD Find people who love what you love, and practice the language you're curious about with a real person. Browse People, follow someone on Madang, say hello in chat, and start a video call when you're ready. GIFTS THAT MEAN SOMETHING Say it with a gift. Send coffee, roses, a gift box, a crown or a rocket during a call or in chat. It's a playful way to show appreciation — and every gift you receive becomes free translated call time. WHY THE NAME ARIRANG Arirang is Korea's most beloved folk song — about crossing every hill together, however far the road. We named the app after it to keep hearts connected across any distance or language. ARIRANG VIP Go unlimited with a VIP subscription: unlimited real-time translation and unlimited video calls with no daily limits, plus a VIP badge that stands out on your profile and in calls. • "Unlimited" means no daily caps in normal use.
