blablabla is the rehearsal partner that reads every line that isn't yours. When the lines are in, switch to selftape and shoot the take without leaving the app. Built by an actor, for actors. We handle the blablabla. You handle the performance. Three ways to work on a scene, selftape included, now listed in 39 App Store markets. == Built for the way actors actually work == - Drop in a PDF, paste text, snap a photo of your pages, or import Fountain or Final Draft - The app figures out who speaks, in what order, and reads every line that isn't yours - Three ways to work: Listen, Practice, Selftape - In Practice you choose how much of your own line stays on screen: Full line, Hint, First letters, Hidden. Move the dial mid-scene, as often as you like. - Voice library: 80+ voices auto-cast to your scene's characters, recast any of them - 39 languages, end to end. Listing and full in-app text, every menu and prompt. == Selftape without a reader in the room == - Teleprompter overlay in portrait, wider chrome in landscape - Countdown, framing grid, mic-check banner - Front camera mirror baked into the saved take (what you saw is what you sent) - Background-safe: take a call mid-rehearsal, the app finalizes the clip == Memorize lines, off-book in days == - Practice mode listens for your line and advances automatically - Cue your own line if you blank (no judgment) - Track your sessions: deviations, time on each scene, streak == Pricing == - Free: 2 voiced scenes to try, every feature unlocked - Pro: $6.99/month or $69.99/year for 30+ voiced scenes a month plus selftape - One-off voice packs: $1.49 for 3 scenes, $4.99 for 10 scenes (no subscription needed) == Why this exists == Built by Elias Munk, a working actor 14 years in. The guilt of asking a friend to run lines for the seventh time is what made this. Your scripts are encrypted on your device and never used for AI training. SHOW UP OFF BOOK Getting off book is the hardest part of the job. It usually happens in the living room: your script in one hand, the other covering your lines. That's how I memorized for years, and it never came easily. I would read the other lines and recite mine, never really listening. The words didn't stick because I wasn't thinking the thoughts. With Line Run, you hear the scene instead of reading it. It speaks the line before yours and listens while you respond, so you hear your cue and think your way into the reply. You're thinking the thoughts and connecting the dots, and this time the words stick. RECORD IT, OR IMPORT IT Record the other characters yourself, once. It's the more lifelike way: your own pacing, your own pauses, each part pitched up or down so they sound like different people. Or let Line Run Pro do the work. Import your script and every other part gets a natural-sounding voice, made right on your phone. One is more lifelike, the other is less effort. Either way, it sounds like a cast running the scene with you. BUILT FOR ACTORS, BY AN ACTOR Hi, I'm Kelly. I've been in this industry for over 25 years, and memorizing is still a challenge. I built Line Run so that we can get off book sooner, with confidence, and rehearsal can be about the acting. SIMPLE TO START, DEEP WHEN YOU WANT IT If you can press play, you can use Line Run. Open a scene and start talking. If you go blank, say "Line, please" and it prompts you. When you want more, it's all there: loop a tricky section, fine-tune the line text, mark it up with notes about motivation, hide the lines to suit your learning style. PRIVATE BY DESIGN There is no account and nothing to sign up for. There are no ads and your data will never be sold to anyone. Your recordings stay on your phone, and the generated voices are made there too, not in a data centre. FREE FOREVER Line Run is free forever, and it's a complete tool, not a trial. It has everything you need for an audition or a less demanding role: one script of up to three scenes, recorded in your own voice, with every way to rehearse. LINE RUN PRO Unlock everything in the app: • Import your scripts, even scanned pages or sides • Natural-sounding voices for every other character, generated automatically • Unlimited scripts and scenes I know how tough it is out there for actors to make ends meet, so I've priced this low to cover costs, not to profit. An annual subscription, with a free trial to start. Cancel anytime. Generated voices need a one-time download of about 330 MB. On iPhone 11 and earlier, and the 2nd-generation iPhone SE, Line Run uses the phone's built-in voices instead. Questions or ideas? Write to me at hello@linerunapp.com. Proudly made in Canada. Line Run was featured as the top-listed app for New Discoveries by the App Store Editors within its first month of release.
