LYRAN DEFENSE is a painterly, fully offline tower defense campaign set in the Lyran Wars: 21 story levels, five bonus Lost Levels, an endless mode, four difficulties, no ads and no accounts. The Lyran homeworld is falling. The evacuation ships are loading. Between the rift and the beacon stands one thing: you. This is the story of a proud feline people holding the line so their children can reach the stars. FIGHT THE LONG RETREAT • A 21-level story campaign across the falling homeworld. Every level is a rearguard action on the road to the evacuation fields. • The Long Watch: an endless mode where you hold as long as you can. The longer you stand, the more ships get away. • Four difficulties, from a calm first watch to an edge that will take your soul. NEW: THE LOST LEVELS • Five battles cut from the campaign, each with the designer's struck journal page. The first is free; Light the Beacon opens the other four. • Sael, the Warden, takes the field in three of them: a hero you send anywhere on the board, who cannot fall. • A new tower, the Refrain Bell, rings creeps back down their own road. New enemies, a hillside that gives way mid-battle, and one level fought in the dark. • Ten more Game Center achievements and the Lost Road leaderboard. BUILD THE LINE • Eight tower families that upgrade into an elite form: arrow, frost, ember, mortar, venom, lance, banner and mender. Three families fork at the top, and the choice is permanent: a Longbow becomes a Starshot Bastion or a Skypiercer, a Glacier an Aurora Spire or a Shatterfrost, a Mortar a Siege Bombard or a Cinderfall Battery. One or the other, never both. • Terrain that matters. Mires that slow the column, rifts that tear open mid-wave, roads that fork and cross. • Special attacks by hand. Aim the Chord, time the Pulse, save the wave. • Target priorities per tower: first, last, strongest, nearest. • Weather that fights you. Rain and snow slow the field and hide the road. A PEOPLE WORTH SAVING • Every board is a painting. Twenty-two hand-illustrated maps, gold against violet, each with its own biome and its own landmark. • Painted towers and painted enemies, not sprites on a grid. • A fully procedural orchestral score that rises with the battle and mourns the defeats. • The Journal: a war codex of every tower, creep and doctrine you meet. • The Gallery and The Score: chronicles of the war, earned by holding the line. • Twenty-six Game Center achievements, from the first watch to the last stand. Signing in is optional, records nothing but those, and the campaign plays exactly the same signed out. PLAY IT ANYWHERE • iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. One free download, the same campaign, the same save carried between them by your own iCloud. • Made for iPhone Duo. Unfold mid-battle and the battlefield opens up with you; fold it shut and every tower is still exactly where you built it. • Game controller support (PlayStation, Xbox and Switch pads). On Apple TV a pad drives the whole interface; everywhere else it drives the battle. • Pinch, drag and zoom the board by hand on iPhone and iPad. Keyboard and mouse on Mac, with a rebindable battle keymap. Drive it from the couch on Apple TV. • Every board is painted TALLER than it is wide, so a phone held upright and an iPad in portrait both give the battlefield the whole screen. MADE TO BE FAIR • Plays fully offline. No ads. No accounts. No tracking. Nothing collected. Your progress stays on your device, and rides your own iCloud between your devices if you are signed in. • Free, complete, and not cut in half. "Light the Beacon" is an optional supporter purchase: the score, the art and the sheet music to keep, and four of the five Lost Levels. It unlocks nothing you need to win the campaign. • A deterministic engine, checked bit-for-bit against committed golden state hashes on every build, so every battle is exactly replayable and every victory is earned. Hold the beacon. The song of the stars is in your hands.
