Merely is a gratitude journal that stays out of your way. One gentle question a day: what are you grateful for? Write a line or two, and you're done. No folders, no moods, no tags, no feeds. Just gratitude. WHY MERELY • A one-minute ritual. Open, write a small thing, done. • No streaks, no guilt. Miss a day and yesterday simply waits, one tap away. • A living design. A warm hearth-light fills the sky of the app and kindles when today is written. • Gentle prompts when you need a spark, and a quote to send you off. • Private by design. No accounts, no ads. Your words sync privately with iCloud. • Your data is yours. Export everything to CSV anytime. BACKED BY RESEARCH Gratitude journaling is one of the most-studied habits in positive psychology. In a randomized trial of more than 1,300 adults, two weeks of short daily gratitude lists lifted happiness and life satisfaction (Cunha et al., Frontiers in Psychology, 2019). FREE, FULLY Everything above is free, in full. No subscription, ever. If Merely earns a place in your evenings, a one-time purchase unlocks extras and supports development. End each day grateful. It takes a minute.
