Ilmy vs Pith

Ilmy brings Islamic learning to your daily routine. Short lessons. Real depth. Covering the Prophets, 99 Names of Allah, Quran, Salah, and duas for both kids and adults. Learn solo or compete with friends on the leaderboard. Build your streak and watch your knowledge grow one day at a time.

Pith helps you remember what you study, and stays out of the way while you do it. Make a card, or bring in the decks you already have, and let spaced repetition resurface each one at the moment you are about to forget it. No streaks to keep alive, no clutter. Just the next card, at the right time. It is built to feel like a small-press notebook rather than another grey app screen: serif type, warm paper tones, and a study flow with nothing in your way. REMEMBERS FOR YOU Every card is scheduled with FSRS, the modern spaced-repetition algorithm, so reviews land right before recall would slip. Prefer the classic method? Switch to SM-2 in a tap, and imported decks keep their own schedule. BRING YOUR DECKS Already use Anki? Import your .apkg files with cards, media, and progress intact, then export back out the same way. Spreadsheets come in too, through CSV or TSV. MORE THAN WORDS Add images, record or attach audio for pronunciation, and choose the card type that fits the material: basic, reversed, type-the-answer, cloze deletions, or image occlusion for diagrams and maps. BUILT FOR BIG DECKS Thousands of cards stay fast. Browse, search inside a deck, and study large imported sets without the app slowing down. SEE YOUR PROGRESS Retention rate, review history, a study heat map, and an upcoming-reviews forecast, each broken down per deck. ON EVERY APPLE DEVICE A native app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with a Today widget that keeps your reviews one glance away. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No ads. No analytics or trackers of any kind. Your cards stay on your device, and with Pith Pro they sync through your own iCloud, which we never see. FREE, WITH ONE OPTIONAL UNLOCK Free includes one deck with unlimited cards and the full study experience. Pith Pro is a single $5.99 purchase, never a subscription. It unlocks unlimited decks, iCloud sync across your devices, and the cloze and image-occlusion card types. Questions or ideas? Email claudiu.sararu@gmail.com.
