Over 1,000 lessons across 19 languages, with new material added regularly. Every piece is carefully broken down so you learn real language as it's actually used. GUIDED LESSONS Follow step-by-step guided lessons that walk you through each sentence, introducing vocabulary and grammar in context before moving on. Perfect for beginners and structured learners. PRONUNCIATION PRACTICE Record yourself speaking and get instant feedback. Cantito uses speech recognition to score your pronunciation by comparing it against the expected text, helping you sound more natural. SHADOWING Practice speaking along with native audio in real time. Shadowing builds fluency, listening comprehension, and natural rhythm by having you speak simultaneously with a native speaker. SPACED REPETITION Cantito uses FSRS (Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler), a modern algorithm based on memory research, to schedule your reviews at the optimal time. Words and sentences you find difficult come back sooner; ones you know well are spaced further apart. Review both full sentences and individual words. DEEP WORD ANALYSIS Tap any word to see its etymology, related forms, usage notes, example sentences, and full conjugation or declension tables. Understand not just what a word means, but where it comes from and how it changes. EXPORT TO ANKI Cantito Premium users can export their vocabulary to Anki (.apkg) with one tap — complete with audio, example sentences, and context from the lessons you've studied. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS See sentences learned, words encountered, sources started, and favorites at a glance. An activity heatmap shows your consistency over time. Ace turns SAT and ACT prep into a short daily habit: a step-by-step path of 6- and 8-question lessons, feedback written for the wrong answer you actually picked, and a practice score you can hold up against the middle-50% range at the schools you are aiming for. No timers anywhere, and every question is original. A DAILY PATH, ONE SKILL AT A TIME The SAT path runs 8 units and 24 skills; the ACT path runs 7 units and 19 skills. Each skill has three rounds - Learn (6 questions), Practice (8), Challenge (8) - with a higher accuracy bar at each step, and every unit ends in an 8-question checkpoint. Free includes the first unit of each path: three skills and its checkpoint. Every unit after that, on both tests, needs an Ace Plus subscription. The Practice modes below are free and cover every skill. 2,500+ ORIGINAL QUESTIONS 43 SAT and ACT skills. Every item is written by us; none are real SAT or ACT questions. Each skill mixes easy, medium, and hard. WHEN YOU GET ONE WRONG Ace shows the correct answer, a written explanation, and a note on the specific choice you picked - most questions carry feedback authored for each individual answer choice, so you learn why your answer was wrong, not just what the right one was. Tap SEE THE STEPS for a numbered walkthrough. Before answering, take up to three progressive hints or cross out choices with the eliminator; the Strategies sheet adds a tip for the skill you are on. YOUR SCORE, AGAINST A REAL TARGET Ace maps your per-skill mastery to a practice score estimate - 200-800 per SAT section, 1-36 for the ACT - and reports its confidence. Pick a target school from 90 U.S. institutions bundled on-device and its middle-50% band is shaded behind your score chart, using U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard data (June 2026). These are planning benchmarks for score-reporting students, not admissions requirements or cutoffs, and where a school has no published range Ace says so. Ace does not predict admission. PRACTICE THAT PICKS ITSELF Ace Quest: 7 adaptive questions with a combo trail, untimed. Adaptive Practice: 8 questions, or up to 3 skills you choose. Review Mistakes: up to 12 questions you missed. Due for Review: 8 questions on skills ready for another pass. Deep Practice: a focused 20-question run. Ace Plus. The planner tells you which skill it picked and why. HEARTS, XP, AND LEAGUES You have 3 hearts, and each lesson uses one when it starts - mistakes never cost extra hearts. One heart comes back every 4 hours. Set a daily XP goal of 10, 20, 50, or 100 and hit it to keep a streak. Leagues is a Game Center weekly leaderboard and needs Game Center sign-in; six tier badges, Bronze to Diamond, are earned by your own weekly XP. WHAT ACE DOES NOT DO No timed sections, and no full-length practice tests - 20 questions is the longest run. No video lessons, no essay scoring, no AI chat tutor: hints and explanations are written in advance. No account or cloud sync, so progress lives on your iPhone and deleting the app clears it. SAT and ACT only. ACE PLUS Ace Plus unlocks exactly three things: every SAT and ACT unit past the free first unit, unlimited hearts, and Deep Practice. - Ace Plus Monthly, $9.99 per month - Ace Plus Annual, $39.99 per year Ace Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and renewal is charged within 24 hours of that. Manage or cancel in Settings, under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by storefront.
