Over 1,000 lessons across 19 languages, with new material added regularly. Every piece is carefully broken down so you learn real language as it's actually used. GUIDED LESSONS Follow step-by-step guided lessons that walk you through each sentence, introducing vocabulary and grammar in context before moving on. Perfect for beginners and structured learners. PRONUNCIATION PRACTICE Record yourself speaking and get instant feedback. Cantito uses speech recognition to score your pronunciation by comparing it against the expected text, helping you sound more natural. SHADOWING Practice speaking along with native audio in real time. Shadowing builds fluency, listening comprehension, and natural rhythm by having you speak simultaneously with a native speaker. SPACED REPETITION Cantito uses FSRS (Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler), a modern algorithm based on memory research, to schedule your reviews at the optimal time. Words and sentences you find difficult come back sooner; ones you know well are spaced further apart. Review both full sentences and individual words. DEEP WORD ANALYSIS Tap any word to see its etymology, related forms, usage notes, example sentences, and full conjugation or declension tables. Understand not just what a word means, but where it comes from and how it changes. EXPORT TO ANKI Cantito Premium users can export their vocabulary to Anki (.apkg) with one tap — complete with audio, example sentences, and context from the lessons you've studied. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS See sentences learned, words encountered, sources started, and favorites at a glance. An activity heatmap shows your consistency over time. WORKS OFFLINE Download content for offline study. Your progress syncs automatically when you're back online. Learn Languages is a free offline app for learning languages by memorizing ready-to-use phrases. Instead of isolated words, you learn complete sentences, work through several stages of active memorization, and return to them using spaced repetition. 4,500 PHRASES · 15 LANGUAGES · FROM A1 TO C2 The app contains a unified set of 4,500 phrases available in 15 languages: • English; • Chinese (Simplified); • Hindi; • Spanish; • Russian; • Japanese; • German; • French; • Korean; • Italian; • Portuguese (Brazil); • Indonesian; • Turkish; • Vietnamese; • Thai. Choose a language you know and a language you want to learn. The course is divided into six levels — A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 — with 750 phrases at each level. SIX STAGES OF MEMORIZATION Each new phrase goes through a structured sequence of exercises: • Listen and repeat — listen to the full phrase and individual words, then say it aloud; • Connect it to a situation — think of several natural situations in which you could use the phrase; • Fill in the blank — restore the missing word; • Build the phrase — put the words in the correct order; • Reconstruct from cues — restore the phrase from shortened prompts; • Type from memory — write the entire phrase yourself in the language you are learning. SPACED REPETITION After you learn a phrase, it automatically moves into your review schedule. The intervals gradually increase: 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, and 30 days — until the phrase is firmly learned. The system records the result of every review. A correct answer moves the phrase forward, while an error schedules an extra review. If the phrase remains difficult, the app returns it to the learning stage. In the review section, you can always see: • what needs to be reviewed now; • which phrases are scheduled; • which reviews are overdue; • which phrases have already been mastered. LISTEN AND SPEAK Phrases can be played using iOS system text-to-speech. During the first exercise, you can also tap individual words and symbols to hear them separately. REVIEW WIDGET Add the Learn Languages widget to see learned phrases more often throughout the day. Choose which review intervals to display and how often the phrases change. PRIVACY WITHOUT COMPROMISE Learn Languages is designed for learning without unnecessary services or data collection: • free; • works offline after installation; • no subscriptions; • no ads; • no account required; • no third-party analytics; • no server-side processing of user data; • progress and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. Speech playback uses iOS system features. Choose a language, start with the first phrase, and progress step by step from A1 to C2.
