PepLog is a medication reminder & logbook for people who manage a peptide protocol and want to keep track of their progress & history. It's built around one idea: recording a dose should take seconds, right when it happens, the way a food tracker works. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Log a dose in a couple of taps: amount, time, injection site, and a note • Track your vials: see how much you have left as you log, when each vial was mixed, and how long ago. Finished vials remain in your history • Track meals and macros in beta: scan food barcodes, log meals, and keep an eye on your daily totals • Revisit your eating history: tap a day to review, add, or edit meals. Recently scanned foods make repeat entries easier without adding calories until you log them • Progress photos: capture on a repeatable angle, compare any two side by side, and watch your timeline build over months • See what you've invested: record what a vial cost and PepLog shows your spend, your cost per logged dose, and how much of what you mixed you've used • Set reminders on your own schedule, with multiple times a day, and log or snooze straight from the notification • See your consistency: dose-logging streaks, badges, a week view, and a history of everything you've recorded, plus a separate meal streak • Track your weight and hydration over time, with your own optional goals • Make PepLog yours: choose English or Spanish and switch between light and dark mode in Settings NEW IN 1.5.0 • Spanish is here! Share PepLog with Spanish-speaking friends and family • Macro tracking in beta, including barcode scanning, recently scanned foods, meal history, and daily meal celebrations • Optional referral codes during onboarding to support the person who introduced you to PepLog • Improved sign-in and checkout recovery, with protection against repeated checkout taps • Appearance controls are now in Settings • The standalone in-app measurement calculator has been removed PEPLOG PRO PepLog is a subscription app. Choose a yearly plan with a 3-day free trial for eligible subscribers, or a monthly plan with no trial. Prices are always shown in the app before any purchase, payment is handled by Apple, and you can cancel anytime in your App Store settings. Installed before version 1.2? Your access stays as it was. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Protocol at 5.0 against PepLog's 4.4. PepLog's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and ratings volume (25 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Protocol sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PepLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Protocol holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PepLog has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
