BugMe vs Paffie

Most reminder apps ping you once and shrug. BugMe doesn't. BugMe is the persistent, escalating reminder app built for ADHD brains — and anyone whose to-do list keeps losing the fight. Notifications start gentle, then get progressively harder to ignore, so the thing actually gets done. Reasonable. Relentless. On your side. WHY IT WORKS • Escalating nudges — five tiers from a friendly tap to "okay we need to talk" • Smart timing — nudges land when you can act, not while you're asleep • Quiet hours — set your boundaries; BugMe respects them • AI breakdown — paste a vague task, get clear next steps • Calendar + 90-day heatmap to see your week and your streak • Mascots, themes, and a dashboard built to feel like a friend, not a manager BUILT FOR ADHD, USEFUL FOR EVERYONE • Time blindness widget so "later" stops being a black hole • Pick-For-Me mode for when you can't decide where to start • Streak tracking that celebrates progress without punishing slip-ups FREE FOREVER • Up to 5 reminders, push notifications, three escalation tiers, AI breakdown (limited) PRO — $7.99/MONTH • Unlimited reminders, all five tiers • Daily morning + evening digests • Random nudges, custom categories, themes • Priority support PRIVACY FIRST Your reminders are yours. Some days you have eight hours and can't start a thing. Other days you have twenty minutes and move a mountain. The difference was never really time. It was energy. Paffie starts with one honest question, how does your brain feel right now? And it shows you only what you can actually do with the energy you've got. No overwhelming master list or guilt, just the next doable thing. HOW IT WORKS • Two-tap energy check-in. Slide from Drained to Wired, or tap a state: Wired, Steady, Foggy, Drained. That's the whole thing. • A list that fits. Paffie instantly shows only the tasks that match how you feel: - Wired? Point that buzzing energy at something that moves the needle. - Steady? Here's a solid next thing. - Foggy? Only the light, low-effort tasks show up. - Drained? The smallest step is plenty. So is rest. • Brain dump, sorted for you. Talk it out or type it out. Everything swirling in your head becomes a tidy, energy-tagged list of small steps, you don't do the sorting, Paffie does. WHAT MAKES IT FEEL DIFFERENT • Built for the way ADHD brains actually work, not a rigid system you have to force yourself into. • Wins, celebrated. Finish one tiny thing and it lands in your Wins, a calm "win of the day," because done is done. • Your rhythms, gently. Over time Paffie reflects your energy patterns back to you: your typical daily curve, your golden windows. No scoring, no pressure. CALM BY DESIGN No streaks to break. No "overdue." No red badges. No shame when a day gets away from you. Paffie talks to you like a calm friend who also runs a business: warm, honest, zero guilt. Paffie isn't a medical tool, just a calmer way to get the next real thing done. YOUR HEAD STAYS YOURS Your voice notes and brain dumps are private. They're used only to turn your own thoughts into your own tasks — never shared, never sold, never used to train anything. MEMBERSHIP Paffie is a paid subscription (monthly or yearly) with a quick, personalized setup. Sign in with Apple or email. Subscriptions renew automatically until you turn them off, manage or cancel anytime in your App Store settings. If your to-do list has been running your life, this is a gentler way to work. Just tell Paffie how your brain feels, it'll take it from there. Terms of Use: https://paffie.app/terms Privacy Policy: https://paffie.app/privacy
