Tipping is a common custom at restaurants around the world. Unfortunately, that means you risk being a victim of tip fraud when you leave a tip. When you leave a tip, it is possible for someone to alter the tip amount so that you are charged for a larger tip than you had planned. Up until now, the only way to prevent this type of fraud is to save all your dining receipts and then check them against your credit card statement at the end of the month. How many of us do that? Very few. Tip Protector is an advanced tip calculator app that helps users calculate tips accurately and makes catching tip fraud much easier. Tip protector takes the percentage tip that you would like to leave (based upon the total bill before or after tax) and calculates tip options to make the last 4 digits of the final transaction repeat. At the end of the month, you can simply look through your credit card statement, and any transaction where the amount paid does not show this repeating pattern indicates that the tip may have been altered. No more having to look through every bill in order to prevent tip fraud. With Tip Protector on your phone, you can: - Calculate tips based on subtotal or total amounts with customizable tip percentages - Split bills fairly between multiple people (up to 20 maximum) - Scan receipts using the device camera and OCR technology to automatically pull out amounts, no manual entry needed - Save tip calculations with location, category, and bill images - Track tipping history and view statistics like spending trends and category breakdowns - Detect potential tip fraud by comparing calculated amounts with charged amounts - Available in 17 languages with beautiful light and dark themes Users can authenticate using email, Google, or Apple Sign In to sync their data across devices. The app requires camera permission for bill scanning functionality. No user data is shared with third parties. Download Tip Protector today and make it easy to protect the integrity of your tip.
