ReadySet vs almost ready

Are you always scrambling at the last minute before a trip, interview, camping trip, or any big event? ReadySet turns the chaos of event preparation into a calm, structured process - so you always show up ready. ReadySet is a smart checklist app built specifically for event preparation. Instead of starting from scratch every time, you build reusable macro checklists - complete with phases, task priorities, and scheduled reminders - that you can apply to any upcoming event. Whether you are packing for a trip, getting ready for a job interview, or planning a family outing, ReadySet walks you through every step. - AI Checklist Builder - Describe your event in plain language and the AI assistant creates a tailored checklist for you. You can also ask it to suggest missing items you might have overlooked. - Macro Templates - Save your best checklists as macros and reuse them for future events. Duplicate and customize macros for different scenarios without starting over. - Phases & Scheduling - Break preparation into timed phases (for example, 14 days out, 7 days out, 3 days out, and day-of). Each phase holds its own set of tasks so nothing slips through the cracks. - Quick Check Mode - Run through your checklist with a streamlined one-tap interface designed for the moments right before you leave. Check off items fast and see your progress at a glance. - Calendar View - See all your upcoming events on a calendar so you always know what is coming and how prepared you are. - Home Screen Widgets - Add a ReadySet widget to your home screen and track your preparation progress without even opening the app. - Push Notifications - Set a daily reminder time so ReadySet nudges you to keep your preparation on track day by day. - Confetti Completion - When you finish all your tasks, ReadySet celebrates with you. Small moments of satisfaction that make preparation feel rewarding. - Color-Coded Events - Assign a color theme to each event for quick visual recognition across your calendar and home screen. - In-App Purchases - Unlock additional features and expand your planning toolkit as your needs grow. Here is how a typical workflow looks: You have a camping trip in two weeks. You open ReadySet, tap the AI builder, and type "camping trip for 4 people this weekend." The AI generates a full checklist covering gear, food, transportation, and safety items. You review the suggestions, add a few personal items, and organize tasks into phases. ReadySet reminds you each day what to prepare, and on the morning of your trip you run a Quick Check to confirm everything is packed and ready. For recurring events like weekly gym sessions or monthly grocery runs, you create a macro once and reuse it every time. The macro remembers your preferred tasks, order, and phases - so your routine is always one tap away. Your data stays on your device. ReadySet uses local data persistence so your checklists and event details are stored privately on your iPhone without requiring an account. Download ReadySet today and never feel unprepared again.
