Setlist Lab vs Setly

Building a setlist shouldn't be harder than playing the show. Setlist Lab is the setlist tool working musicians have been waiting for — built for the bar band, the solo acoustic act, the touring group, and everyone in between. Whether you're playing a 30-minute opener or a three-set night, Setlist Lab takes the guesswork out of building your set so you can focus on what actually matters: the performance. Stop asking yourself the same questions every gig. What songs do I know? Does this flow right? Did I already use that one? Setlist Lab answers all of it. Your entire catalog lives in the app, organized exactly how you think about it — by energy, by tags, by kind. The visual energy arc shows you at a glance whether your set builds, peaks, or flatlines. No more showing up to soundcheck with a napkin setlist. Let us build it for you. Not sure where to start? Tell Setlist Lab how long your show is, how many sets, what energy arc you want, and what mix of originals and covers — and we connect to Claude to build your setlist in seconds. You get a complete, thoughtful setlist that fits your show. Fine-tune it from there, or just play it. Or build it yourself, the smart way. Prefer to do it manually? Drag songs into your sets, watch the energy arc update in real time, add breaks, and adjust until it feels right. Every decision is informed — you always know what you're working with. Built for the stage. Stage View puts your setlist in large, readable text optimized for low light. Key signatures, energy levels, and stage notes are all right there when you need them. No squinting, no scrolling through a notes app. Your whole catalog, always ready. Add songs one at a time or import your whole catalog at once — paste a list and let Claude figure out the rest. Store lyrics and chord sheets right alongside each song so your whole show lives in one place. Save every show. Save setlists with show name, date, venue, and set times. Export as text, CSV, or PDF. Build a song book with your full lyrics and chord charts to share with your band. Setlist Lab is $3.99/month after a free 7-day trial. No ads. No upsells. Just a tool that works. Need a setlist you can actually read from the stage floor? Setly turns your song list into a one-page setlist PDF in giant type, ready to print and tape down before the show. Add songs one by one or paste your whole list, drop in set breaks, and tap Make Setlist. Setly sizes the type automatically so every title fills the page as large as it can. • GIANT, AUTO-FIT TYPE — the text grows as big as one page allows (up to 144 pt), so short sets print huge and long sets still fit. • KEY AND TEMPO — add an optional key (F#m, Drop D…) and BPM to any song; they print small on the right so the title stays the star. • SET BREAKS — insert a divider line between sets anywhere in the list. • PASTE A LIST — one song per line; a line of dashes becomes a set break and leading numbers like "1." are stripped. • REORDER IN SECONDS — drag songs up and down or swipe to delete until the running order is right. • HEADER AND PAPER — an optional line for band, venue or date, on US Letter or A4. When it's ready, print with AirPrint, share the PDF with the band or save it to Files. Everything is made on your iPhone — no account, no sign-up. Your first 3 setlists are free. A one-time $4.99 unlock gives you unlimited setlists. No subscription, no ads. Questions: overlapmarr@gmail.com
