TV Remote vs ibey

This is a local TV remote app designed for living-room use on a home network. It supports discovering and connecting Roku devices on the same network, with an emphasis on everyday local control rather than one-time setup. The goal is to make device discovery, connection, and frequent actions feel more direct and reliable in daily use. The app supports both LAN scanning and manual IP entry, making it easier to locate devices in real home network environments and reconnect them when needed. Compared with basic remote utilities that only present a grid of buttons, the app focuses more on connection flow, action paths, and continuity across high-frequency use. For remote control, it provides core navigation, select, back, home, menu, and playback actions, along with long-press behavior and faster shortcut access designed to reduce repeated taps and improve continuous control efficiency. In addition to core remote functions, it includes scene shortcuts that let users save common action sequences as reusable command flows. It also offers motion gesture control that maps phone movement to common commands, and supports quick viewing and preview for some ONVIF network cameras. Overall, the app is designed as a dependable local control entry point for Roku use on a home network, with an emphasis on stable connection, faster interaction, and practical day-to-day control. Some advanced features are optional paid content. Pricing, subscription duration, and included benefits are clearly shown before purchase, and users can decide whether to activate them. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple ID account and can be managed or canceled at any time in App Store account settings.
