DecoLens Color Meter

Picking a colour from a photo doesn't give you the colour. Ordinary colour-picker apps read pixels from the screen preview β€” a value already rewritten by auto white balance, auto exposure and JPEG compression. What you see is the colour your camera decided to show you, not the colour of the wall. DecoLens takes a different path. It uses the iPhone as a colour meter, built for measuring colour on site and making material decisions. From wall paint to wood, fabric and stone, get stable, repeatable colour readings instead of trusting your eyes. β–  How it measures ・White balance, exposure and focus are force-locked at the moment of capture ・ProRAW sensor data, with no compression or colour rendering in between ・LiDAR reports distance live and blocks the capture when you're too close or too far ・Capture is rejected outright on specular glare, or on a surface too textured to trust β€” better no number than a number you can't rely on β–  Gray card calibration Under warm tungsten light, a white wall looks beige. Tap once on a gray card and DecoLens measures the true colour temperature of the room, then corrects every reading against it. Studio practice, on a job site. β–  Material compensation Paint, wood, fabric and stone respond to light in completely different ways. Pick the material and DecoLens applies the matching compensation. β–  What you get ・HEX, RGB and LAB values ・Ambient colour temperature and LiDAR distance ・Sample variance β€” so you know whether to trust the reading ・Colour library: save every measurement with notes and tags ・Material ID card: export a reading as an image, so everyone on site is looking at the same thing β–  Hardware iPhone 11 and later run the full measurement flow. iPhones with LiDAR and ProRAW (Pro / Pro Max) automatically enable the high-precision capture pipeline. β–  Everything is free right now DecoLens is early. We want to find out whether it's genuinely useful to people doing this work before we talk about charging for it. Every feature β€” gray card calibration, manual Kelvin, LAB data, multi-material measurement β€” is unlocked. If you're a designer, a painter, or anyone who needs to carry a colour away exactly, we'd like to hear from you. β–  Privacy Colour measurement runs primarily on device. We use analytics to improve the product, and you can turn analytics tracking off inside the app. Apple Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

TexLab

Features

TLI-TexLab is a textile analysis and testing companion for textile professionals: it gives visual estimates from photos, guides you to the right standard test, and connects you to real laboratory instruments. VISUAL FIBRE ESTIMATE Point your camera at a fabric or yarn sample (macro mode, highest-resolution capture). You get a visual estimate of the fibre type. A photo cannot reliably tell cotton from polyester, so confirm with the care label, a burn test or an ISO 1833 laboratory analysis. LIVE DEFECT DETECTION (ON-DEVICE) An on-device model scans the camera feed in real time for broken ends, knots, weave errors and other fabric defects. No internet connection required. WEAVE STRUCTURE Plain, twill, satin, jacquard and knit structures are classified from the image, with thread density and weight estimates. BUYER-TO-TEST WIZARD Choose a requirement profile (summaries of public documents from brands and certification schemes, or your own), pick the product type, and see which tests and standards apply and which real TexLab instruments and consumables perform them. Request a quote by e-mail. Profiles are summaries, not official specifications or conformity approval. COMPLIANCE FILE Keep your own records: label declaration versus laboratory result, test reports, performance claims and audits. STANDARDS LIBRARY Browse ISO, ASTM, AATCC, EN, TS and other standards and see which TexLab instrument performs each test. Physical tests need laboratory instruments; results from photos are estimates. PDF REPORTS Shareable PDF reports with the fibre estimate, quality metrics, defect map and TexLab instrument recommendations. PRO PLAN The free plan allows 3 tests per day. Pro unlocks unlimited tests, priority analysis and advanced reporting. Not affiliated with or endorsed by any brand or certification body named in the app. Subscription TexLab Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, offered as a weekly, monthly or yearly plan with a 3-day free trial. The price is shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
