You will not remember which drawer the spare key is in. Or the paint color in the hallway, or your sister's ring size, or which vet the cat goes to. LookyHere is a small box for the things future you will want to find. WRITE IT THE WAY YOU'D SAY IT Type into the search field at the bottom of Home, then tap Save This Note. "Air filters are in the laundry room" becomes a page called Air filters, filed under the laundry room, with no form to fill in. Start with someone's name and the button offers to add it to their page instead. "John wants a Lego set" goes straight onto John's page. Later, search the same way. Ask where the air filters are and the answer comes back at the top of the results, pulled from your own note. WHAT GOES IN THE BOX • Items: where things live, what you lent out, model and serial numbers • People: birthdays, gift ideas, favorite things, the details you keep meaning to write down • Pets: vet, microchip, the things you would need in a hurry • Places: saved spots on a map, with your own notes attached WHAT IT DOES • Reminders that repeat, with real notifications, and a Coming Up view of everything ahead • Birthdays that tell you how old someone is turning • Checklists on any item, with a widget that shows the list you pick • Words in your photos become searchable, so you can find a serial number you never typed • At a Glance keeps the facts that matter about a person or pet at the top of their page • When two notes disagree, LookyHere asks which one is current, and never deletes a note to settle it • Widgets, Siri and Shortcuts, Spotlight, and the Share Sheet • Automatic backups you can restore, or hand to another device • iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo, with a full set of keyboard shortcuts on iPad YOUR FILES STAY YOURS Every page is a plain text file (Markdown) in your own iCloud Drive, or on this device when iCloud Drive is off. Browse them in the Files app, read them in any Markdown app, and take them with you if you ever stop using this app. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT There is no LookyHere account and no LookyHere server. No analytics, no trackers, no ads. Any smart features run on your device, and one switch in Settings turns all of them off. Want Home to show only names when someone glances at your phone? Turn off note previews. Write it down now. Find it later. LookyHere requires iOS 27.
