Taurus turns the Audio Unit plugins you already own into a pedalboard you can actually play, and it plays Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) captures natively, with no extra plugin. Five starter amps with matching cabinets, an IR loader and a four-track looper are built in, so you can start playing right away. Plug your guitar into an audio interface, drop amps, drives, delays and reverbs onto the board, and Taurus wires them into a live signal chain. Every plugin gets a real pedal face: Taurus reads its parameters and lays them out as knobs, faders and switches, so you shape your tone by turning knobs instead of scrolling parameter lists. Prefer the plugin's own look? One toggle swaps the whole board over to the plugins' native editors. BUILT-IN PEDALS • Native NAM: load any Neural Amp Modeler capture (.nam) directly, with no extra plugin. Five starter amp captures are included, each paired with a matching cabinet • Add your own cabinet impulse response to any capture • IR Loader: load any impulse response (cabinets, springs, rooms) with wet/dry control and five starter responses • Multi-Track Looper: four synchronized tracks quantized to the bar. Record, overdub, undo and keep playing • Audio Player: play a backing track or a lesson through your rig, loop an A/B section, and change speed or pitch BUILD YOUR RIG • Add any Audio Unit (AUv3) effect or instrument installed on your iPhone or iPad, plus Apple's built-in Audio Units • Drag pedals freely around the canvas and watch the signal path drawn as cables • Drop a pedal straight onto a cable to place it exactly where you want it in the chain • Split the chain into parallel lanes and merge them back for wet/dry, dual amps or separate paths • Name each pedal, give it a color from a 29-shade palette, and reorder its controls so the ones you use live are up front • Type exact values for any parameter from the pedal's Parameters table • Prefer the plugin's own interface? Switch the board to Plugin UI and every editor is hosted right on the canvas, wired into the same chain PLAY LIVE • Live view scales the whole board to fill the screen, with an option to hide everything but the controls • Scenes capture bypass states, gain and each plugin's full state, so you can switch sounds between songs • MIDI Learn: map any knob, switch, scene change or looper track to a footswitch or controller over USB, Bluetooth or network MIDI • A chromatic tuner is built into the front of every chain and always ready • Per-pedal input and output trim, master gain, and level meters with peak hold • Background audio keeps your rig running while you check tabs or a backing track STAY ORGANIZED • Keep as many boards as you like and switch between them; everything saves automatically as you work • Rename and duplicate boards; rename, duplicate and reorder scenes • Undo and redo any change to the board • Optional iCloud backup keeps your boards on every device signed in to the same Apple Account, including Taurus for Mac GOOD TO KNOW • Taurus hosts the plugins you install and also includes its own NAM amp, IR loader, looper and audio player, so you can build a full rig before buying a single third-party plugin. Apple's built-in Audio Units are available too. • An audio interface and wired headphones or monitors are strongly recommended. Bluetooth audio adds too much latency for playing in real time. TRY IT • Everything is unlocked for a 7-day free trial. After that, keep Taurus with a one-time Lifetime purchase or a monthly or yearly subscription. About

Metropoly

Metropoly is a polyrhythmic metronome that turns polyrhythms into something you can see and feel. It helps you develop an intuition for complex rhythms by visualizing them in a way that makes their structure obvious at a glance. BUY IT ONCE AND OWN IT - No subscription. - No ads. - No sign-in. - Every feature works offline. - One purchase for iPhone, iPad and Mac. BUILD A POLYRHYTHM - Up to six rhythms, each with its own beat count, all lining back up every cycle. - Every rhythm gets its own configurable color and sound, so the parts stay separable by eye and ear. - If preferred, add a count-in of one full cycle of the first rhythm, so you know where the loop starts before it starts. EXPORT THE LOOP AS VIDEO - Render the current polyrhythm to a square video at 1080p or 4K. - Choose a gray, black, white, or transparent background that drops straight into your edit. - Loop it 1 to 64 times, with or without audio. Loops are frame and sample accurate, so they cut together seamlessly. - Rendering carries on while you use another app, and tells you when it is finished. PRESETS - Save any configuration as a named preset and load it back instantly. - The app reopens on the polyrhythm you were last working on. THEMES - Three light themes and three dark themes, following the system appearance or pinned to one. - Separately configure the background color of the polygon view. ABOUT THE DEVELOPER Made by Thijmen Dam, an indie developer and musician building small, focused tools with care. Metropoly started as a way to practice polyrhythms, and grew into something I actually enjoy opening every day. Thanks for giving it a spin (literally!). It means a lot to me.
