THE SOCIAL APP FOR INTROVERTS Intro is an introduction app for connecting with people who prefer to stay in. Our mission is to provide a safe environment for individuals, who find socializing and going out draining, to form meaningful connections with similar individuals, all within the comfort of their homes. INTRO INTRODUCES INTROVERTS We get it, going out can put stress on the mind and on the wallet, and the odds of finding someone who enjoys the comforts and hobbies of staying home, by going out, is slim. Intro plans to be that bridge, that beacon, that connection for finding people that can not be found anywhere else. Join our community and start building connections that cater to you! Introverts and people who enjoy staying in come in all shapes and sizes. Are you a gamer or roleplayer seeking player 2? An anime or streamer fan seeking a watch partner? A niche hobbyist wanting to find a group with shared, unpopular passions? Or are you outgoing yet prefer to be with more reserved individuals? Intro welcomes all walks of life and will help you find those special people. DESIGNED TO SOLVE PROBLEMS Social apps can be a harrowing experience, but we’ve designed Intro with native features to make it easier on you. No more overgeneralization, Intro gives introverts a safe space to be themselves and find more people like them. FEATURES * Constellations: a new way to meet local introverts! At Intro, every user is granted a Night Sky filled with Stars. Each Star is a local profile for you to review and send a Ping to. When approved, Pings then become Connections; a bridge between introverts to discover and share each other's interests. A Constellation of Stars in your Night Sky allows you to explore local introverts freely, returning to those you enjoy to Ping. * Our Action Point Economy makes your decisions meaningful. Every day you are given 5 free Action Points (APs) to send pings, reveal photos from pings, and share contact information. Each Star has a Price-to-Ping and popular Stars require more APs to Ping. By deconstructing the social app experience with APs, you do not become flooded with attention and are granted multiple strategies for forging meaningful connections. * Every Ping you receive appears on your Radar and is visible for you to read bios and reveal photos in any order you choose. Pings turn into Connections at no cost! * No login required. Intro is built with Raincoat, a program that removes the need for usernames or passwords and allows you to recover your profile from any iOS device. As such, Intro does not collect or store personal information beyond what you provide. Raincoat also serves to mitigate bots and scammers, simply create your profile and you’re all set. * Ghosting sucks, Intro's Final Message lets you send and receive closure with courtesy. Reporting does not require a final message. * Tired of being flooded with unwanted attention? We hear you, Intro's dynamic Price-to-Ping and linked questions ensure you are never spammed. * A new Guided Chat Room to help you communicate: use buttons to send emojis, ask questions, or share contact information. Questions are linked to encourage engagement from both sides, plus Intro will provide questions for you. When you are ready, share your contact info and take the conversation to the next step. * Intro’s Malice Scanner A.I. keeps our community safe. Every message, bio, and image is scanned for malicious behavior before it can be shared. We want you to feel at ease being yourself, which is why we have zero tolerance for hate or explicit behavior. PURCHASE INFO More Action Points (APs) can be purchased in app to continue using Intro’s features. Payments will be charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. APs are tied to your Apple account. Your daily free APs will always be spent before bought APs. Bought APs do not expire. Daily free APs do not build up over time and reset at the start of each day. * Built by humans, not A.I.
