PaintMixLab

Photograph anything. Mix it with the tubes you already own. Point PaintMixLab at a photo ā a landscape, a portrait, a swatch in a magazine ā tap a colour, and get a recipe written in the paints on your table: up to three tubes, in whole parts. WHY THE RECIPES WORK Screens mix light. Paint mixes pigment, and the two behave nothing alike ā blue and yellow light make grey, blue and yellow paint make green. PaintMixLab models how each pigment absorbs and scatters light across 38 bands of the spectrum, fitted to real painted swatches rather than guessed from a hex code. That is why a recipe comes out the colour it says it will. WHAT'S IN IT ⢠Sample any colour from a photograph ⢠379 paints across 10 sets ā from 14-colour beginner boxes to 93-colour artist ranges ⢠Recipes in whole parts, with how close the match is ⢠Blocks: the dominant colour masses of your photo, largest first, so you can block in the big shapes before the detail ⢠Style studies after Van Gogh, Monet, Turner and other masters ā simulated brushwork and palette, computed on your phone, no AI and no upload ⢠Calibrate your own tubes: paint a swatch, photograph it, and the model adjusts to your particular paint and your particular white ⢠Calibrations sync across your devices YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE Colour sampling happens on your phone. Images are never uploaded ā not to us, not to anyone. HONEST ABOUT ITS LIMITS A recipe is a starting point, not a guarantee. Tube batches vary, paint thickness changes a colour, and the light you paint under is not the light you photographed in. PaintMixLab gets you close enough that the last adjustment is a small one. SUBSCRIPTION PaintMixLab Pro ā $2.99 per month, with the first 3 days free. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Verdict
The clearest difference is iOS requirement: PaintMixLab at 15.0.0 against WebPalette Maker's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
