ClimbOn Hiking Map & GPS
Read full descriptionHide full description
ClimbOn is a hiking app that allows users to create hiking plans and record their activities on the day of the hike within a single application. Users can create planned routes by long-pressing on the map to add route points. Elevation profiles can be viewed based on the altitude of each point, and saved routes can later be edited again. The app also supports importing GPX files. During hikes, ClimbOn records movement tracks based on the userβs current location and allows them to save the recorded data as GPX files after completion. When a saved route is loaded, users can view the route on the map, check elevation graphs, see the distance and direction to the next point, and monitor deviations from the planned route. The app also provides hiking-oriented settings such as recording intervals, automatic pause, background recording, and map cache management.
