Luna Journey vs ShadowWrite

Your journal should be the most private place you have. Luna Journey keeps it that way. Everything your entries, AI insights, mood detection runs entirely on your device. No servers. No accounts. No cloud sync. No one reads your words but you and Luna, your on-device AI journaling companion. PRIVATE BY DESIGN, NOT BY PROMISE Most journaling apps send your most personal thoughts to remote servers for processing. Luna Journey is different. It uses Apple's on-device intelligence to power every feature Your words never leave your phone not for AI processing, not for analytics, not for anything. There is no backend. There are no servers. We couldn't read your journal even if we wanted to. HOW IT WORKS Write openly about anything on your mind. As you type, Luna your private AI companion responds in real-time with thoughtful reflections and emotional support. It detects your mood naturally from your writing, no manual tagging needed. When you save an entry, Luna generates three personalized insights: • A summary that captures the heart of what you wrote • An emotional tone reading across 9 states from joyful to anxious • A reflection question to sit with and deepen your self-awareness All of this happens instantly, on your device, using Apple Intelligence.
