Read full descriptionHide full description
Freedive Finder is a community platform for freedivers to discover dive sites, organise sessions, and connect with buddies at a compatible level. Built by freedivers who were tired of scrolling through 6 different WhatsApp groups to find a training partner. Discover dive sites The map is community-built. Browse sites with real photos, depth notes, access information, and conditions. Add the sites you know so others can find them too. Organise dives Create training sessions, fun dives, or snorkel trips at any site. Invite dive buddies, coordinate in the session chat, and see who has confirmed before you head to the water. Match with buddies at your level Profiles support the major certification paths: AIDA, SSI, PADI, Molchanovs, and FII. Send and accept dive buddy requests so you train with people whose experience fits the dive. You only receive invitations from people you have mutually accepted. Keep a dive log Record completed dives with depth, duration, water temperature, and visibility. Attach photos against each entry. Your dive metrics stay on your device unless you choose to sync. Privacy first Your precise location stays on your device and is never broadcast to other users or stored on our servers. Profile visibility, location sharing, and invitation permissions are all under your control. Safety Freedive Finder is restricted to users 18 and over. Freediving carries inherent risks including shallow-water blackout and hypoxia. The app is a planning and community tool. It does not replace proper training, certification, or a qualified dive buddy. Who it is for Freedivers at every level, from people who just want to do some snorkelling, competitive athletes scouting training locations and recreational divers looking for a session this weekend.

Is it diveable today? Vizzbud tells you at a glance. Every dive site on the map is lit green, yellow or red from the live swell, wind, tide and visibility outlook. Open the app, spot a green pin, go diving. Built for scuba divers, freedivers and snorkellers. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Tap any site for the full picture: hourly conditions for the days ahead, tides, water temperature, entry notes, depth, and what other divers saw there this week. Turn on the seabed overlay to see depth contours and the shape of the bottom before you get in. GET TOLD WHEN IT’S ON Set a dive plan for your favourite sites, like swell under 1 m and visibility over 5 m. The evening before conditions line up, Vizzbud sends you a push. No more checking three forecast apps every morning. LOG EVERY DIVE Depth, time, temperature, visibility, gear, gas, buddy, notes and photos. Your logbook works offline and syncs when you have signal. Export it as a spreadsheet any time. It is your data. DIVE WITH OTHERS Share visibility reports and photos, see what is firing near you, and follow the divers whose reports you trust. Post with no signal and it goes up when you are back in range. Found a spot that is not on the map? Drop a pin and share it. ALSO IN THE APP Dive shops on the map for your next fill or charter Saved site lists that light up when conditions improve Works offline: browse, log, like and comment without signal Dark mode, metric or imperial units, 12 or 24 hour clock PRIVACY Your dives, photos and posts are yours. We do not sell your data and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Delete your account any time from Settings, Account, and your information is removed for good. SUPPORT Missing a site or have an idea? Email support@vizzbud.com. Vizzbud is built by one person, a scuba instructor in Sydney, Australia. New sites, regions and features land every few weeks, and your feedback shapes what comes next. Safe diving.

The clearest difference is device support: Freedive Finder at 3 against Vizzbud's 1. Freedive Finder also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
