Hangul Diary is the vocabulary companion built for serious Korean learners. Instead of flashcards you forget, it helps you collect words you actually encounter — with real context, sentence examples, and grammar analysis — so you build knowledge that sticks. **Capture Words Instantly** Add Korean words and their meanings by typing or speaking. Voice input with live transcription lets you capture spoken Korean hands-free, so you can practice pronunciation as you learn. **Save from Anywhere with Share** Reading a Korean article in Chrome? Watching a drama? Chatting with a Korean friend? Select any Korean text, tap Share, and send it straight to Hangul Diary. Choose to save it as a new vocab word or link it as a sentence to a word you already know — without breaking your flow. **Attach Real Sentences** Context is the secret to remembering vocabulary long-term. Attach multiple example sentences to every word, with optional translations. See the word in action and understand how it's actually used. **Morpheme Analysis** Go deeper than just meaning. Tap Analyze on any sentence to break it into morphemes with part-of-speech tagging, powered by the Komoran NLP engine. Understand how Korean grammar works — particles, verb endings, and all. **Organized & Searchable** Your entire vocabulary collection is searchable in an instant. See your total word and sentence count grow as you build. Duplicate detection prevents redundant entries and lets you jump straight to existing words. **Import & Export** Back up your vocabulary or move it between devices with CSV import and export. Your data is always yours. Whether you're a beginner picking up your first words or an intermediate learner building deeper fluency, Hangul Diary gives you the tools to learn Korean through real language, not isolated memorization. Never abandon is a tool that uses repetitive memorization to help reinforce your vocabulary learning. Its default review and repetition schedule is based on the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve, enabling you to memorize words most efficiently. You can also adjust the timing and number of review repetitions in the settings. The app comes with a built-in CET-4 word list compiled by the author for review purposes. Users can also choose the custom mode to add their own words and build a personalized word bank. Once purchased on the App Store, users can access all features of the app for free—no subscription required. Home · Enter the word sets you need to review. In CET-4 mode, the app will automatically generate a word set for you to review each day (except for days you set as rest days). · Based on either your custom schedule or the default review schedule, each word set will become "Pending Review" when a review node is reached, and the app will send a notification. Tap the "Start Review" button, and you can choose to review by filling in the word based on its definition, or by filling in the definition based on the word. · Tap on any word set listed on the home screen to view and recite the words in that set. Bank · The word bank lists all the words you have entered. In CET-4 mode, this includes the CET-4 word list compiled by the author. · The "Mistake Book" in the upper right corner allows you to create review sets based on words you got wrong during quizzes, either by date or by manual selection, to review your mistakes. Achievements · Tracks the total number of words you have recited. When you meet certain milestones, you will unlock corresponding app achievements. Settings · In settings, you can adjust the review interval, the number of review repetitions, or switch between app modes (CET-4 mode or custom mode), as well as set rest day intervals.
